One quick correction datto (sorry if this is rude). The pillar that is taken away does not correspond with the last glyph in the sequence. My team always goes top left first since it takes the longest for everyone to get to. Even if it was the right or middle glyph last the left pillar we hide behind is the one that disappears. I believe any pillar that is used for cover from the oculus is taken away. Or possibly the one most people are standing behind. Great and very helpful video otherwise. I'm sure this will help a lot of people with warpriest.

Good to see another raid guide Datto, I've seen the fights and mechanics explained by others but they don't make them as easy to follow as you do. These guides are the gold standard and should be required viewing for those looking to do the raids. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the raid explained!

Some suggestions to the strategy: -During the starting of "Prove Your Worth" have two people stay in mid to clear additional adds and to avoid confusion with who gets the brand. -Focus wizards over all units in mid, mostly all other ads run towards left and right, help when you can with them. However not taking out the wizards just creates more chances of death for the next runner. -During the Warpriest try to have a designated initiate too activate the last plate. (Pick the person who is most comfortable with it) -I recommend having the plate caller to be a player from the left side, this is too avoid the small chance of someone failing trying to get behind the pillars. (After a certain amount of time the ads start to pop out after the hallowed knights are killed) -If you are having issues with grouping around the initiate try this. First round - Everyone mid (Hide behind Mid Pillar) Second round - Everyone mid (Run a bit early too the Right Pillar) Last round - Everyone mid (Jump on the left small platform that is behind the Left Pillar, you can survive behind this)

When 'Proving Your Worthiness' instead of all of the three players standing on either totem at the start only one person does while the other two from each group kill enemies in the middle. When the first persons timer reaches 10 seconds they then call the next person to come take over. This shows as a more effective strategy as there are less enemies to deal with at once although there is a risk involved when timing the transfer right if there is a lack of communication.

As always a very good and highly detailed guide. Much more in-depth then other guides on the same topic. Diagrams are always helpful when explaining complex mechanics and have continued to put the quality of your videos above the others. I've found that starting with only 2 players on each totem and the other in the center at the beginning of the fight helps with center ads for the first transfer. Just a small note for others. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your future content.

Datto we did a blind run and did the proving your worth segment differently. We had three groups of two and we rotated the middle people into the outer rooms so we always had people killing ads in the middle and we found it easy

Planet Destiny's King's Fall guide didn't even explain why certain mechanics happened the way they did. It was simply one of the guys on the PD team talking about what to do, not what was even going on. Heck, I had no idea why the orb would revet back to the original spot sometimes. That kept happening the first time I tried this and I couldn't explain to my raid team how to prevent that from happening.

Datto I may have misunderstood what you said but the statue only goes down on the one you stand behind while the oculus is attacking. Also the best one to take first is the left one. If anybody in your fireteam dies then the middle one will automatically be taken down.

The way that worked for me was to split into 3 teams of 2 and have two clear adds in the mid room. Once the aura switches a mid player goes into side room and the side player drops off the power. Rinse and repeat. It helped to maintain the number of adds and can really make it must less stressful.

Great video datto, but there is just 1 thing wrong: Once The Warpriest summons the Oculus, he will the destroy the pillars which there are players behind. For Example, if after the first DPS sequence, there are players standing behind in all 3 pillars, he will destroy the 3 pillars at once. Hope my explanation is easy to understand Keep up the work

My team had 3 teams of 2 in the beginning of the 'prove your worth' part, if you do that you will have control over who will get the aura. Plus all ads in the middle can be killed at the same time. Great vid tho.

@dattodoesdestiny I don't think your text on 9:10 is accurate because we have used up more than one glyph pillar at a time. I'm pretty sure if someone is behind a pillar it uses it so you don't want you team to split open and get behind any random pillar as it will cut down the amounts of them you get to use resulting in less damage and a possible wipe.

when we done it, 2 of us stuck between the glyphs and the boss platform to cover the middle plate, you could take out of most of the enemies as they came through the doors, you were at an angle that the boss or those above on the platform couldn't hit you and you could see the glyphs as they lit up. On a side note we gave up using the whole, left, right middle call outs and used names instead, too many screw ups with "wait a minute is it my left or your left".

Nice video Datto however you gone one somewhat important part wrong. At 9:10 the text on the screen says the pillar that gets destroyed is whichever is last in the sequence but in reality any pillar that anyone is standing behind will get destroyed. So in theory if someone is behind all three pillars they will all get destroyed. Also standing in any shadow besides that of the pillars will get you killed, I've tested it.

I think harm mode war priest will have this new mechanic. Whenever the oculus takes rune down, there will no longer be a light in its place to notify you which plate to step on. Kind of like a guessing game.

Not quite correct about the Oculus, Datto. Only the pillar shadows can shield you, and whichever one you stand behind is the one (or multiple) that disappear, so make sure your fireteam only stands behind one pillar.

He's actually quite easy. First part with the deathsinger buff was diff Bc lack of communication. But after that it's pretty simple. Golgoroth was quite a pain took maybe 5 try's. But have 2 people work with his rage and orbs. We are on Oryx ATM and he's what you'd call a good challenge

My fire team don't kill ads while the aura is up, we have all six focusing on boss, we can get him to the R in 'war' within the first pillar as we have a shadow shot and melting point Titan with weapons so he just takes about 20000 damage a sniper hit which is insanity when you have 5 snipers on him at all times

hey I don't know if you are aware, you can "use up" two rune totems in one oculus run. this happened by accident on my first run through where one team mate stayed behind the right totem while the rest was in the center. doing this causes the taken enemies to spawn. the taken enemies is NOT tied to damage as you stated in the video. also I imagine an occurrence where a fire team rushes back to their respective plates and use up all three totems and thus would force enragement in which it doesn't matter what happens you wipe. some FYI I thought I'd share from my mistakes.

The glyph that the Oculus destroys doesn't correspond to the last one activated, it is any glyph that has someone behind it. This means you could destroy all three in one Oculus if you have someone behind each one.
