I think of destro from the cartoon. I did have the figures as a kid. Well just the main characters. I never read the comics. I was aware of them. Idk why I never read them. The only comics I was into was comics published by DC and Marvel. G.I Joe was and is under the Marvel comics publisher.

Your Destro story is similar to my Spirit story. I was playing with my Joes in the dirt by the redwood tree, and in the heat of battle I grabbed a rock and tossed it into the loose dirt but accidently hit Spirit. I dug for several weeks but didn't find him util a couple of years later when I found his upper arm, had a little funeral for the guy.

« ATARI joystick » was to control Duke when he was fighting as a Gladiator in the MASS series. « Shoulder armour » is actually his ancestor face mask « Bazooka cap » is actually the buffer he used to remove the lava on his mask in the Pyramid of Darkness series.

I haven’t bought any 3¾” G.I. Joes by Super7, nor this line, nor Classified. I couldn’t settle on which I liked most and I still have a strong vintage collection. I got to meet his voice actor though and though usually I want more chrome in my life but with this guy, to be cartoon accurate, I think silver paint was the way to go. Very tempting. Great review.

If you do a midnight excavation I wanna see it. I've always wanted figures based off the cartoon. Wether it's He-Man motu,She-Ra princess of power,TMNT,Thundercats,G.I Joe,Transformers and Jem and the holograms. We need a rerelease of He-Man motu filmation from S7. Bc I missed out in 2016. I didn't know they were a thing until you showed and talked about them in one of your videos.
