The lack of ragdolls and jank vehicle physics/behaviours are the main complaints I have for this game. Good fun though and the games writing is sharp as ever and aged better than any of today's over propagandized crap will.

Despite DAH 2R's glitches, it's still one of my favorite 2022 games. The way they added extra detail to the 5 maps is amazing and worth exploring every nook and cranny. Eventhough this was game was originally meant for 9th gen only and didn't sell well, at least it wasn't a PS5 timed exclusive like what Square Enix is doing with Final Fantasy 7 Remake/Rebirth. If Black Forest Games kept supporting this game, I would've loved to see a survival mode (similar to Gears of War's Horde Mode, Uncharted 4 survival, and GTA 5 Online survival) added to Challenge Accepted. Imagine every 10's wave is a boss round with familiar bosses from the first two games. I could see places like Zen temple, Bay City military base, Cosmonaut domes, Hyde Park, and Science Town as survival maps. With every round getting harder. For example Wave 46 the enemies release revelade gas when they die. I'm glad people like you are still talking about DAH, it gives me hope there there will be a new DAH 3. If they do make one, I hope it takes place in the 80's with maps taking place in Latin America.

I don't believe that whole "we cut that mission because it was boring" excuse at all. Considering they cut some controversial cortex scans and dialog from both games (including all of the black male hippie NPC's cortex scans for some reason) and considering that they changed up some of the other missions in the game, it was totally cut because they didn't want to deal with any potential controversy it might've brought. They could've easily changed the mission up a bit to make it less boring. I'm also not a fan of the new Disclocator. In the earlier games, it's a weapon used to cause chaos, and thin out groups of enemies, as enemies can't fight back while they fly around. It's more a niche use, but it was still fun to mess around with, and not every weapon should be super good at killing (which is probably part of the reason why the game feels too easy in the first place). One of my favorite things to do with the weapon back in the older games is to jump onto a car, and shoot the car, causing it to fly around while I ride on top of it, but you can't do that in the remake. I say this as someone who also likes the Superballer in PotF, but I don't want the Disclocator to be the Superballer, ya know? It's a shame, because there's a lot of things I really like about this remake, but I can't support a game that claims to have all of the dialog, unaltered in the game, and it doesn't.

If you'll skip a good game because it doesn't include questionable content included in the og, that's your problem. I don't play these games for black npc dialogue. I play them for gameplay.

I think a fusion of Willie and PotF would be best. Though such a fusion would definitely necessitate recording new lines, what with Willie not using the OG VAs and the massive story changes that would probably happen to PotF

I always thought the original 1st game was cool, I never played the 2nd or knew anything about its missions, so I had a lot of fun exploring everything in this remake, I Got the platinum for this today and I’d give it 8 out of 10. Great video btw.

As a remake I thought it looked great and played great. Back when games were games, and made for the purest purposes of entertainment. I am a little disappointed they took some jokes out, but overall they kept 97% of all the jokes. That’s still pretty amazing in the times when we have to rewrite history to not offend someone. 🫠 People need more games like this. I pray they can make a great destroy all humans! 3 I’m just unsure how they would do it. It all depends on the writers. Making a 3rd game is going to be a challenge because the 2nd game did so many things right and exceeded everyone’s expectations. I’m glad you covered this. I just hope there is still momentum and motivation for Black Forest games to create a New Destroy All Humans! 3. I personally wouldn’t want to see anything or even a reference to the big Willy game or path of the Furon game. They just aren’t good enough compared to the first 2 games. The 3rd new game needs to be new material and great writing with unapologetic humor just like the original 2 games.
