I like to think Godzilla was impressed by Anguirus's brass balls when he tangled with King Ghidorah in Destroy All Monsters. That must've been why Godzilla chose him as his ally against the Cockroach Aliens. He's like the Mickey to Anguirus's Rocky.

Honestly Destroy All Monsters has one of the best best soundtracks in the Showa Era (after original and KKVG), It's a classic masterpiece and it gives very happy feelings of the showa period, not to forget it's one of my favorite movies from era

been humming this my whole life, it will never leave my brain. also under appreciated movie that really takes you on imaginative journey of a world where humans co-exist with an island of monsters. I will always think of this movie when I see any of the new monsterverse films, with each one it is bringing the wonder and magic of this movie's plot into an organized and realistic setting, a world where the existence of monsters, or titans are a fact.
