The Shrubs I’m not particularly a fan, this is the first song of theirs that I’ve heard, but I like a lot of music like this, and it’s mainly about the energy. It’s extremely conflicted and confused. It resonates with the part of me that feels completely helpless and lost. Also punk anger really boils down to wanting a place to fit in. So, it’s less about the notes, and more about the way they are played or sung. This song helps me feel less alone, even though this is my first time hearing it.

The Shrubs good question, I’m sure you realize that music is subjective, what I enjoy is not what you’d enjoy and that is completely fine. It took me a while to get into this genre but the reason bands like these drew me is because of the energy they had. I’ve been going through a lot of things this year and the angsty, chaotic feelings of songs like these feel like a release of some sort (which was comforting) :)
