" ... Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it .. " (Ps. 127:1). Thank you Nader! I've been dealing with a few people who are fixed on the temple to be built in Jerusalem. This study gave me some more insight that I may share with them. Please pray they will accept that we are the temple!

This sermon is false doctrine. When you discuss at 9:30 that Jesus says "I do nothing of myself" this doesn't mean "I CAN do nothing of myself". You make Christ incapable of doing anything rather than show that Jesus voluntarily submitted to the Father's will. John 10:17-18 clearly shows that Jesus voluntarily submitted to God. You interpret these verses inconsistently. You mysteriously don't interpret when Jesus says that he "has power to lay His life down" as meaning that God has power to take Jesus' life but you interpret the part of "taking up again" as only God's ability to give life to Jesus? That is totally inconsistent. A correct interpretation is that Jesus has power to do both but he chose to submit to His Father to raise Him instead of exercising his own divine power. At 12:17 you interpret "power to receive" instead of "power to take up again" making the statement of Jesus totally insignificant because God can raise anyone he chooses which would mean that all humanity and even animals have that same "power to receive" which is no power at all. Your arguments make Jesus powerless and nothing more that a vassal to God. The Bible clearly teaches that God raised Jesus from the dead. The problem with this sermon is that you are teaching that Jesus couldn't raise himself because of the state of the dead, denying the divinity of Jesus. At 35:20 you said "If you believe that Jesus raised himself from the dead then consistency demands that you should believe that you and I are able to raise ourselves from the death of sin". Now, as a Bible teacher you should know the difference between Jesus' physical death and when we die a spiritual death to sin. In our spiritual death we maintain consciousnesses and surrender our will to God. This argument tends to prove the opposite point you are trying to make. Jesus took on humanity and depended upon God as an example to us but his divinity didn't die. His omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence didn't die. This is a poorly researched, supported and presented sermon. May God have mercy on your soul!

@Revelation 22:13 ..._“I do nothing of Myself,” said Christ; “the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father.” “I seek not Mine own glory,” but the glory of Him that sent Me. John 8:28; 6:57; 8:50; 7:18. In these words is set forth the great principle which is the law of life for the universe. All things Christ received from God, but He took to give. So in the heavenly courts, in His ministry for all created beings: through the beloved Son, the Father's life flows out to all; through the Son it returns, in praise and joyous service, a tide of love, to the great Source of all. And thus through Christ the circuit of beneficence is complete, representing the character of the great Giver, the law of life. (DA 21.2) _ The plan of salvation required Jesus to fully depend upon his Father in order to be our perfect example. Again, it doesn't mean that Jesus cannot do nothing himself but that he cannot and will not do nothing *of* himself because he is surrendered to His Father. _"The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do.” The priests and rabbis were taking the Son of God to task for the very work He had been sent into the world to do. By their sins they had separated themselves from God, and in their pride were _*_moving independently_*_ of Him. They felt sufficient in themselves for all things, and realized no need of a higher wisdom to direct their acts. But the Son of God was _*_surrendered to the Father's will*, and *dependent_*_ upon His power. So utterly was Christ _*_emptied of self_*_ that He made no plans for Himself. He accepted God's plans for Him, and day by day the Father unfolded His plans. So should we depend upon God, that our lives may be the simple outworking of His will." (DA 208.2)_ John 5:19 doesn't mean that Jesus was unable to but rather He was unwilling because He was fully surrendered to his Father.

Why are you paralleling us, being humans to Christ being God Almighty? Just because we are in Christ does not mean that we have the power to raise ourselves from the dead. The Father is in Christ and Christ is in the Father, but the difference being is that Jesus is Jehovah/Almighty. John 14:10-11 is the relationship between Jesus as God, God being Yahweh, and the Father as Yahweh/God. We are not God! We are in Christ but we are not Deity. Jesus said the Father doeth the works in Reference to *Jesus as a man* being subject to the Father! We see in Zech 12:1 that this is Jesus as the Creator, based upon that *Yahweh says in Zech **12:10* that they shall *look upon me as the one whom they have pierced.* We know this is Jesus (John 19:37, and Revelation 1:7). The fact is that Jesus said very clearly that *Destroy this temple....and.... In three days... I.... Will raise it up.* It does not say that in three days the Father will raise it up. Although the Father did raise him up, but that verse clearly does not say that in that verse (John 2:19,and John 10:18). If it was meant for the Father in that verse it would not have said *Jesus said* then went on and used the *"pronoun "I".* That verse is proof of a Tri-une God. Just the same as the shema states that. Hear O Israel, the Lord (Yahweh) our God is one Lord (Yahweh) Another words.... Hear O Israel Yahweh our God is one Yahweh....yet I can show you twenty scriptures proving that Jesus is Yahweh, and the Father is Yahweh. Yet one Yahweh exists according to the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4). And it is very interesting that *echad* is used in Deuteronomy 6:4. 8085 šə·ma‘ שְׁמַ֖ע‪‬ Hear 3478 yiś·rā·’êl; יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel *3068Yah·weh.יְהוָ֥הYahweh* 430 ĕ·lō·hê·nū.אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God *3068Yah·wehיְהוָ֥הYahweh* *"259 e·ḥāḏ אֶחָֽד one"*

Jesus is God! The person who uses the username; Revelation 22:13 states: *"Jesus is not God".* Then I guess Rev 22:13 has no redeemer. Jesus has to be God to die for his sins and the world's sins. Only God can forgive sins! Jesus had to become man to pay the judicial decree that states; *"for the wages of sin is death".* He doesn't understand the two nature's of Jesus Christ had the redemption plan to be accomplished by both his nature's. His nature as God fully had to part of the redemption of mankind as well as his human nature had to become part of the redemption of mankind, because man *"had to pay the full price for their sins, and the decree is eternal death".*

@Nader Mansour We even see the Tri-une God in Jesus resurrection! 1. The *Father* raised up Jesus......Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope *"by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."* (1Peter1:3) 2. The *WORD* (Jesus, Rev 19:13) raised up Jesus....... in John’s gospel: “Jesus answered them, ‘Destroy this temple, and in three days *''I will raise it up.’'* The Jews then said, ‘It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?’ But he was speaking about the temple of his body” (John 2:19-21) 3. The *Holy Spirit* raised up Jesus.....:" But if the *Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead* dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you". (Roman's 8:11)

@@kathymain578 My Bible and yours says that he is a distinct person, and he is one with Christ and the Father. *"He is both."* It says he can be lied to, he can be grieved, he can be blasphemed, he can be quenched, he can comfort us, he can lead us, he sanctifies us. The Bible references the Holy Spirit in the personal pronoun *"HE".* It says that he is distinct in the baptismal formula (Matthew 28:19); *"It says, Go ye therefore, and teach all nation's, baptizing them in the name of....The Father,.....and the Son,.....and of the Holy Ghost. In the name, then mentions three"!* Then it mentions that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ as well as the Spirit of the Father. We have both, we have a oneness of the Holy Spirit with the Father and Son, and a distinction of the Holy Spirit from the Father and the Son Thus support s a Trinitarian doctrine biblically.
