Why did this guy keep lobbing torps at ships well outside of range - what's the point?

You can push ships with torps. Same thing with spamming shells at them. You might not do much damage but you can make them change course. A rack of torps fired at a battleship can make them expose broadside to avoid them. It is all about communication in game. Eat a torp or expose broadside.

Вы уверены что это хороший бой?! Игрок не смотрит на карту, больше половины игры пускал пустые торпеды, когда корабли уходят и не входят даже в круг дистанции торпед. Просто везение в конце, 70% так играют.

I know, "destroyed" sounds like completely on his own, but i use this phrase on all titles to avoid the term "kill", just because of the algorithm, i hope you understand.
