No cv, no subs, top tier and all but tunnel vision bbs to farm. He did not even once predict movement correctly at long range. Torp hit ratio until mid game max 1 out of 10. I would file this one under luck, sorry.

If it was random, why did he hit so many times? That's how torpedoes work. You throw them at decent odds and wait for the hits.

@@dimstr8714 That's not a bad ratio for WW2 torpedoes from surface ships. Remember they're fired as spreads, not individually, misses are an inherent part of the technology. Realistically, they were fired en mass on a squadron level. They'd fire 40 torpedoes, hoping to hit with 2-3 of them. That's fine, that'd sink most ships. Good trade. And even if they didn't they'd play merry hell with the enemy maneuvers, and they'd be gun shy even knowing of the POSSIBILITY of a torpedo salvo. That sort of fire is EXACTLY 'terror', because it's always a possibility and you frequently aren't going to see it coming. Any headland with a destroyer nearby might have a load of fish in the water already, just waiting for you to blunder out and go after them. Any destroyer suddenly pulling a hard turn to unshadow it's tubes might have just launched. It only took 1 hit to destroy destroyers, and cruisers would be crippled from the same. Carriers would likely lose flight ops and battleships would be slowed and their gunnery compromised.

Что то я пытался устроить торпедный террор, но какого-то художника ЛК перегоняли мои торпеды. Посмотрел их статку 61 %, кто бы сомневался.Половина торпед на дурня влетело.

I don't understand those two BB's at the end made those two crucial mistakes, once you saw which direction those torpedoes were heading, they didn't think to change course and make it easier to dodge the torps, instead kept full steaming directly at the halland and it's notoriously fast torpedoes... seems like illogical thinking.

Its totally possible, some russian torpedoes for example (chkval or something like that) can travel up to 200 knots, but with a close range.

А вот тебе неплохо бы начать различать какая в них разница, а также принципы работы, различных боеприпасов противолодочных и противокарабельных. Not THAT impressive - basically "spray and pray" with torpedoes. I did notice that he(?) turned off AA to keep low profile and stayed outside detection range. Nice work if you can get it.

so many mistakes - looks like unexperience dd - just throw enough torps....at some point he will get a feeling where to torp...this torps on indicator make me sick when watching :P But hey...300k+ dmg....i never get in random matches with a dd....maybe i play too much objectiv...and dont go for dmg :)

I can't speak for him, but when I'm playing stealthy DD I rarely use my guns unless I'm sitting in smoke. It blooms your detect range by sea when you fire your main guns and it becomes a lot harder to land torpedos once they know where you are. So I try to stay undetected for as much of the time as possible.
