you usually want to hold your grimoire for tyrant. Just like you would always have vilefiend and dogs for tyrant ideally unless you think you will get clutch kill potential out of the grimoire's stun to stop a heal and end the game - save it the 30 seconds until tyrant. Tyrant extends the duration of all summoned demons so you are maximizing the damage of all those summoned pets by their duration. That's also why in the opener sometimes you want to summon vilefiend / tyrant even out of LOS sometimes just so you can get him out while you have dogs / grimoire / vilefiend. it sucks but getting the tyrant out with all the other pets out is the key. You also want to use fel obelisk when your tyrant spawns. when the other team starts to engage you can summon vilefiend behind the pillar and power siphon so you really only need to get dogs / tyrant off considering grimoire is instant cast
