Uncle Larry once you put down the sand you should put down sevin dust on top of it then put down some lime before you put the new pool up it would help with insects and mold.

Just get built in pool then you don't have to go through on that just put a cover over the pool when you don't used like in the winter.

Larry could those holes in the sand near the deck, be from burrowing animals(moles, and other animals like that)? Also would plywood on top of the sand and then foam on top of the plywood help?

The pool people told me it's from termites and the reason that they look like mole tunnels is because of water leaking and eroding away the sand. Plywood wouldn't work because termites would definitely be all over that.

Our pool is over 20 years old probably 26 years old its still in good condition we just changed the liner not to long ago. Great video
