Is sad pirares are out of meta. I feel is one of the funniest comp to play. They, with rewinder, have made demons a better APM comp, elementals have more versability and if you want to focus the game in Titus, leepers are always better.

Pirates are still strong if you can get them rolling early into the midgame, but you have to hit 2 key units early and then 2 key units late mid game and do enough damage so people don't have time to scale, if you just barely win games early you won't have enough time to beat the scaling players like this

@@poundtownbrownyeah agreed. APM pirates are definitely gone for now but running regular pirates or a pirate dragon board can take 1st in lower MMR games for sure

I for one am glad pirates aren't good enough and therefore played more because my sanity can barely take how long combats are with the leapers and death rattle pirate builds that are already being played lol

I actually think that Top 8th would be a lot more educational. Ignoring fight rng, understanding what he tried to do and why it didn't work out would be a very good way to learn.

Nvm, I’m guessing you said “going to buy two minions to golden this” because he had to keep shop frozen for smuggler. The choice was to waste 6 gold or buy two random minions in order to sit still. I’m dumb

I don't think so on PC, but on mobile if you multitask out and return like 10 seconds into the fight it'll just skip it

Why transfer it into the cleaves? The cleaves seem to already have enough attack and health and having an extra unit with a lot of health and attack its better than relying on your cleaves to do the work.

Know when to tempo, level, and greed. If you think your opponent will be stronger than you, stay on the same tier and buy the strongest minions you can. If you think you'll win, or at least not lose too badly, level. If your early shops are bad, just level, because it will be better than rolling at low tiers. And like the other guy said, don't overcommit to a build early, because you'll lose if you don't hit what you need. Try to look in a general sense at what wins the lobby and what you have in terms of trinkets.

Sounds like you might be levelling too fast, better to not level in some situations and make your board stronger in a lot of situations. Also if you are struggling, don't pick the Trinkets that are good in a few turns, pick the immediate impact ones even if they aren't the best - better to finish top 4 and maybe not win the lobby than 5-8th
