Red Widow is the hardest to unlock and crane is right behind her but i think crane is way faster then her it a pain trynna get him then her i unlocked her about twice and crane about 3-5 times yeah it was a struggle

This was quite the biggest mystery of my childhood. I played this game to death and had fun with it over several years. I had every car maxed out by winning the championship with every single on of them multiple times but i never figured out why there was no tuning mode as they had shown in their trailer or on the demo game. I wanted this feature so badly but it was no where to be found. Today i think they may had their reasons to not put it in the endgame. However, if there would exist a new version of this game with more cars, more tracks, more game modes like last man standing and things like the tuning mode .. holy shit, i'd be waiting outside gamestop on release day licking my fingers. 😄😄

There is two sets of upgrades. For each set there is 4 stages of upgrades (for each round won in championship). If you finish first in your first round and keep wining you will have the "rocket" type upgrade at the back of your car (1:09 for example). If you are 2nd or third you will receive on the first round you will receive the 2nd set of upgrades which is less powerfull. Cassandra's and brennan's car were my favorite btw :3

I thought the unlocks for coming worse overall were actually better looking, specially the gold wheels you would get for coming like 5th/6th overall in score. It was a pain in the ass deliberately trying to get a lower score..

Jared Cane is my favourite character. Why? Because her car is fast, good handling and nice. I won every race default tuning or it's the car is default. Jared Crane is the BEST dude on DDA (in my view).

Yogg-Saron The rocket boosters are stupid and I didn't like the ricer cars, but... while they had a cartoonish style, the older cars look pretty good and you can at least tell what they're supposed to be. Like the Charger, AMC Javelin, '71 Firebird, Camaro, Checker Marathon taxi, '74 Dodge Monaco, etc. Even though they would be stupid to use in a derby in real life, the '68 Corvette and Cobra look pretty cool too. It was a bit too arcadey and cartoonish for a Destruction Derby game in my opinion, but I WILL say it was fun as hell to play... especially with 2 players. Test Drive Eve of destruction was a lot better, but I liked this game overall.

It was released for the PS1 in the mid 90's and was one of the first driving games I remember playing. DD Arenas ruined the experience by adding power-ups and made it too arcadey for my liking
