I’m always happy to see board games get love. It just makes me so happy to see everyone gather around a table and laugh as they ruin each other’s plans. You can almost do no wrong because you know you’re all friends and it’s just a game. Plus you can hug it out or slap whoever was being an asshole.

Great choice of game for the first episode. me and my wife have been in love with Villianous for awhile now, and i haven't even watched this yet and im excited to watch, both for the game and to see you do something you've been excited to do. EDIT: i could be wrong about this, but don't you have to play allies you summon to the location your piece is at? i didnt think you could just put them anywhere you wanted like you guys do. also yes yes yes more!

This is such a well balanced game. I don't think I've ever played a game of it without at least half the players within like 2 turns from winning when it ends. The only situation that doesn't hold true in my opinion is when playing with enough players to play with the fate token (which blocks the last person that was fated from being fated; it's the reason they had to keep fating each other to fate Matt) and someone plays Prince John. His win condition just feels extra inevitable and less strategy or luck based. Really fun game though and recommend it. Really good production values on this. Well done Matt.

Dead of Winter is a zombie survival board game, I recommend you check it out. It's one of those "co-op with secret betrayer" style games and can be pretty brutal at times. Might be a little slow, but it's fun to play off camera anyway.

Hey Matt love the video, just a minor suggestion though, when showing cards or something on screen could you maybe leave them up for more than a micro second? It's hard to read them and rewinding the video every time you guys mention a new card or effect is really tedious.

Awesome production and gameplay!!! Just to point out, the "fate token" is only used in 5+ player games. So, in a 4 player game, a person can get fated continuously.

A really good game to play with friends is Sentinels of the Multiverse. It's a co-op super hero card game where each player chooses a hero to play from 10ish in the base game to up to I wanna say 50 with all the expansions. Each hero has a deck associated with them as well as a number of variant cards that can change how their core mechanics. You then go on to pick a villain to fight, with again about as many to chose from that also have variants, and an environment deck to fight in. Every villain has different loss conditions, with a villain in the core set ending the game if he decks out. This is by far my favorite board game that has ever board gamed and I own 99% of the expansions. Shit's amazing man.
