Just so you're aware. This video left out some key things, and also gives very bad advice for soul shards and dimensional rift. Spend soul shards asap unless you are pooling shards for a dps burn phase or havoc cleave. Also never sit on dimensional rift charges. Your tier set has a proc that gives you a dimensional rift charge and you will over cap it.

Should I try to give Roaring Blaze the most uptime possible, or should I prioritize refreshing it before it expires for more conflagrate damage? Sometimes I have to refresh it with 3 seconds left, or else I cap on shards. I feel like I should only use Conflagrate to speed up my Chaos Bolt cast and just not worry about keeping Roaring Blaze up.

I put a /cancelaura Burning Rush macro line into a few of my most used spells. It makes it very easy to run with people in dungeons and it automatically dumps it when I attack something :-)

Appreciate the effort, but you're teaching some bad habits and misinforming new players. First off, in aoe, cataclysm applies immolate to targets hit. Second, you never wait until you have 5 soul shards because you will over cap. Sometimes it is worth pooling soul shards for something like a havoc cleave burn, but that's it. Third, you totally left out havoc, a core spell that is a big part of destro identity. Fourth, deminsional rift should be used on CD, all 3 charges. Otherwise your tier set will overcap it.

Why would you wait to cap shards before casting CB? Surely you're losing shard generation? Wouldn't 4.5 shards be better? Genuine question from an old MoP/Legion destro main looking for refreshers.

Yes. It is better to Chaos Bolt before capping, as you are losing shards generated by Immolate as well as 1 to 5 shards if you top off with Incinerate.

Stats layout at the beginning is kinda reversed from what icy veins says? Haste > Verse = crit > mastery. Now I dont know what to think

Icyveins get a lot wrong imo… Wowhead is best & they state the same as my calculations. Overall tho just get ilvl.

I can't agrre with a few of things said here. Capping soulshards and dimensionnal rift seems a nonsens. I would say that you need to have as few soul shard as you can and as few dimensional rift charges as you can. They are the spells that make damage. Or maybe there's an explanation to that? But I can't figure this out

why use the rift only when it have 3 charges? why not use all the charges during opener?

I think that the portal is random, which one you get on cast. But did anyone find out should you cast only 1 or all 3? 3 makes sense as its a slow cd, but what do I know.@@mountaineer014

you don't, if you play this way you risk the way of overcapping shards. say the shard gets refunded but you were already about to generate another. its best to dump a couple of bolts

You don’t, that’s completely wrong. You will overcap your shards if you do this which is the #1 thing you want to avoid when performing your rotation.

@@nawdog187 Green fire is obtained via a quest introduced at the end of MoP. To start the quest you need "Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion", which can be bought on the auction house or farmed on Isle of Thunder (recommed just buying it on the AH). Then do the quest (look up a guide on wowhead or smth), it's a bit long but it's super easy now that you don't have to do the final boss tactics.

Head to the AH and buy "Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion", can be expensive, you can also farm this item from rares on Isle of Thunder, as soon you get the item, it will start a quest chain, which in the end will enable fel fire glyph! :) If you want to know more, just google "fel fire warlock" or something, you will find full guide!
