Why do you do 6-7 Rain of Fire before using the infernal on the first pull?

I main destro as well. He’s trying to get as much crit and haste as possible before popping it. Also there’s a talent called inferno that makes RoF increase fire damage to that enemy by a good bit, I think it’s 20% or so

And Inferno is just a static damage buff, that doesnt really explain it either. the rain of fires are buffed the same amount whether he casts 6 RoF then infernal, or just infernal right away. I think the real answer is Crashing Chaos buff doesnt stack, so hes using all of his pre key buff before getting the 2nd crashing chaos buff.... so, nothing at all to do with what u said lol whats your io, just curious?

@jdmcamis3508 Inferno increases "RAIN OF FIRE" damage, not Fire damage. it doesnt do anything to infernal damage. And even if it did, that would mean you only want to cast one Rain of Fire, and then drop Infernal. It wouldnt explain why he casts 7 Rain of Fires before infernal. Your explanation is still wrong Xd Care to expand on your haste/crit explanation?

@@CharcoalBlasterdog oh wow I called it the wrong thing… it’s called pyrogenics… To go with your point, I wouldn’t have casted that many, but you also don’t want to overcap on shards and it’s easy to do that first big pull, it’s kind of a double edged sword. On another note, Affliction is nuts on beta and can’t wait for the rework to take effect next week!

It depends how big the pull is and your haste thats why we want big pulls as destro. Every thick of rain of fire gives you soul shard
