This is most likely the most belated KZbin comment response of all time 😂😅.... Unfortunately not too long after I posted this comment I lost my fiance to COVID and grief did what grief does. However I grateful to still be in the land of the living with some semblance of peace in this chaotic post pandemic society 🥰. I am from Detroit, born and raised. Currently live in Southfield but I started a nonprofit foundation in my late fiance's honor called The Widow Warrior Project and I travel both for that and travel nursing assignments so if you still offer lessons...I'd LOVE to take some!!!! If you're alright with shooting me your contact info I'd be super grateful!! Hope all is well on your side of the world King!! Peace and blessings 😊🙏🏾

@@NurseSnow2U I am so so sorry for your loss. I lost my fiancé, my soul mate, in January of 2009. Nothing has been the same since. Life is wonderful, just not the same. Many hugs to you. You won't get OVER the pain but you will get thru it

Is this a dance you can do without a partner? Its difficult learning it without you having a partner.
@TheBallroomMaestro4 жыл бұрын
Hey Sharonica! Yes, this is primarily a partner-style dance. In that men don't socially dance with women anymore, women have taken up line dancing. The elements and footwork of line dancing are taken almost directly from movements done in partner dancing. Hopefully you got a chance to look thru some of the other vids here, they give a much better view of the partner aspect of the dance. The hardest part is getting men to dance with women nowadays. Men have become so THUGGED OUT that we have lost any notion of what it means to socially engage a woman on the dance floor past twerking, ijs...If it's left up to me, I'm going to be the one last standing Brotha on the dance floor ready to escort a Sistah by the hand to dance floor. Very sorry about the late response; I didn't realize people were actually watching/reading my post, lol. Again, Thank you very much for your support!
