Thank you for your very detailed review. I’ve just visited a small dealer here in the U.K. who recommends Deuter very highly. I think I’ll ask him to order one for me. Great video! I wish you well with your channel.

Thank you so much for watching my video and for your comments. I'm glad my video was helpful to you. You will absolutely love any Deuter backpack that you may buy. They are thought out very well. It's the best out of the three that I have. Please let me know what you think once you have it :)

@@adventuresandreams My first adventures were over forty years ago with a Karrimor rucksack and walking the hills in Scotland. Karrimor used to be something in those days. I’ve had to wade through the rubbish on the market today, then I found this tiny shop, and then your review! Again, thank you!

Thanks for the video, very useful and coming from someone who actually used the pack (as opposed to the 'professional reviewers'). l'm seriously looking at this model to walk the Nordlandsruta. 14 days stretch with no possibility of ressuplying anywhere, so l'd have to carry 16 days of food (14 + emergency)... This pack seems to be able to handle the load. Thank you! ATB!

Thank you so much for your kind words. It means the world to me to hear that my videos actually help people out there :) Your trip plan sounds amazing, and this backpack would be perfect for it. It's truly so spacious yet comfortable, that you could carry everything that you need for the two weeks. The extended hood and big space in the front to strap stuff really help a lot. I found myself taking a few extra things because of its size (like muffins for breakfast instead of oats :D) Anyway, have fun! I would love to hear how your trip went.

@@adventuresandreams Well, again, thanks for the review! It really helped 😊 l'll do my best to come back over here to let you know about our trip but, if l don't, take a look at my channel around mid-September or October, when (l guess) l'll upload the video (if everything goes well 🤞). @@alwaysforwardyt I guess you have a bit of time, still, for your trip! :D Well, if you remember to come back here, make sure to link the video. I'm going to start filming again soon as well. I moved to the Pacific Northwest a couple of months ago, to Oregon. This place is loaded with amazing landscapes, and I can't wait to capture them. The gear videos were just something in between because I love my gear but also didn't like the videos that I found online, so I created my own. Good luck! :)

Lucky you! l wish l could also live there. // l also do gear videos sometimes just to entertain myself. l enjoy filming/editing them 🤓 l'm going to take a look at your other videos, let's see what you've been up to 😊

Nice, Marcell. Thanks. I hope mine lasts forever, but they do seem like a tank :D This is my first Deuter pack, but friends of mine have them, and I was always impressed with all the features and high. I notice you struggling to put on such weight as you carry. I haven't seen you latest videos but have you considered going lighter and more compact? I used to haul 60 and 80 lb climbing loads into the mountains but no more. 3 season backpacking for me is 25lbs tops, including my trailhead food and water. It's so much more enjoyable going light. // Enjoyed your review of the North Face Terra 55.
@adventuresandreams3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching my videos! When I only went backpacking in the warm season and with a lot less filming gear, my Terra 55 was just right, but it was impossible to fit warmer layers, a winter sleeping bag, and my 4-season tent. I could only go car-camping in the winter with multiple bags. That was the main reason why I bought this Deuter backpack. It finally fits everything that I need for the cold season, and I don't have to limit myself to car-camping anymore :) I do struggle to get it on my back sometimes, I admit. I'm not the strongest person, lol. A lot of the weight also comes from my filming equipment these days, and when I cary the bag, I ask myself if I need all of it, but then I'm always happy that I have it to capture nature beautifully :) One day I will have to do an ultra-light trip for sure, but even now I really don't take anything that I don't need, plan my freeze-dried meals perfectly, use a super light-weight water filter, and I take just enough cloths for all weather.

@raimundolanas42734 жыл бұрын
thank you for this very well put review! I'm looking for a mountaineering pack for long approaches, how do you feel about the weight of the pack, is it really noticeable or it's worth it for the comfort of the pack? Cheers!
@adventuresandreams4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm glad you like my video. I think the pack is well worth the extra weight. I never really noticed it until I filmed the review to compare my three packs side by side. I was handling them all in a row, and that's when I realized that the Deuter pack is the heaviest of them all. The comfort and extra space make it worth it if you go for several days or in the cold season when you need more clothes and a bigger sleeping bag. What do you have planned, exactly? Deuter might also have slightly smaller packs with the same comfort level if you don't need quite that much space. All of its features are also way worth it (except for the odd water bottle pockets, which hopefully they fixed in other models :) )

@@adventuresandreams Hey, so I'm in Chile, I wanted something versatile that could work for either Torres del Paine (9 days) and for mountaineering in the Andes (approaches of around 2 to 5 days). 60 + 15 sounds about right.
