Great video. I have the NF MM in Ebene and have the delightful on layaway at Fashionphile. It’s good to see your comparison video. I’m a little unsure of my decision now that I’ve seen your video though. I like the NF but it does annoy me that the strap is so short, but it seems like there delightful is the same way

Great review. I got a Neverfull in DE but I can't use it until Christmas., as it's a gift from my Dad and he said to wait. I don't have one currently in my collection, but it's a great choice for me for every day since it will let me carry only one bag instead of a tote plus it's lightweight. I appreciate your detailed review, especially how to decorate it because I was wondering where to but some bling. Now I have a couple of ideas. Have a great weekend!

@@AutumnBeckman It's new, so I have the matching pouch too. I didn't realize they were so limited, I thought only certain bags such as the favorite and Pochette Accessoire were scarce. I thought canvas was more widely available online, but when I ordered mine it said it was in limited supply in boutiques and online. The prices for preloved are so high, it doesn't make much sense to buy preloved unless you happen upon a great deal. Most that I saw had a lot of wear. I can't see spending $800 + for just the tote and get one that's dirty inside or with cracked trim. I have nothing against preloved, I have at least four preloved bags, and I am reasonable about wear, especially with vachetta, so for ne to find slim pickings says a lot. Whew! Sorry for my long winded reply! I think you also said in a previous video that this was one item to consider buying new, also. I think! Hope you're having a great day!

I’m thinking about getting a Delightful pm on the pre loved market and love your detailed description so thank you for that. I just got my LV Neverfull MM Rose Ballerine yesterday and I love it!!! I got it from Fashionphile and that’s the only place I have shopped for pre loved so I am definitely going to check out your suggested shops. I wonder if the D Ring is on the cinch straps is for weight so they hang better?? Or maybe just so it looks better rather than nothing on the ends?? I use bag charms but would love a twilly to add to my collection. Thanks again for a great video!

Great comparison. I love these bags!! The delightful had two versions, one with one piece of canvas on the bottom and another with the two like yours. My new style also has the one piece and I thought I preferred that but when you said they prob did two so the lv is face up...that makes total sense! Lol. I like that!! The newer version is a different size as well. The new version is slightly taller and not quite as wide. Which is your favorite?

I've been waking up at 4:30am for the past few weeks. My alarm is set for 5 but I don't have to leave for work until 8. I'm a morning person and love having all that time to be productive. Thank you for that information on the bags. That's helpful. If I had to choose, my favorite of the two bags is probably the Neverfull but there are things I like and don't like about both. I'm not really into my Neverfulls at the moment but I'd probably still choose to keep that over the Delightful if I had to sell one because I find it more functional.

Perky Waterman I know it will sound crazy but on my Keepall 55 I’ve had the same problem and I used wax paper! Take a large square and run it over the top and bottom of the brass zipper in small strokes. I got the idea from another KZbinr who refurbishes bags. I use mineral oil on my LV zippers. It's all natural and works perfectly!

You'll want to clean the zipper first to remove residue. I use Brasso. LV's repair department told me to use beeswax to make the zipper run more smoothly and I've heard several people say wax paper works, too.

Hobo vs Tote. I personally can not stand my delightful , the strap is super hard to keep on and she sits in my dressing room taunting me. As to the neverfull ....easiest tote in the world. I like the idea of an additional strap, I'm going to look into that !!!!thanks for the idea, I would just have to have the the leather the same it would bother me to wear it different aging colors.

Yes, matching the vachetta would be the tricky part. My strap is darker than my bag. An ebene strap or a completely different strap could work, too.

Hey Autumn, love your channel! Was curious, if they do discontinue all the Neverfull bags in canavas (a rumor I’ve heard from multiple SAs) which would you recommend purchasing? Size? Print? Interior? Taking into account resale value (eventually) knowing they will likely increase in price on the secondary market if discontinued. Thank you and keep up the amazing content!

I don't know which would hold or increase its value the most but the MM is the most popular size and I would guess monogram is the most popular print. Damier ebene would be the most durable.

I heard from a reliable source that the canvas was changed in 2015 one of the ingredients was found to be harmful to the environment I’m guessing it wasn’t LV’s idea to discontinue using the ingredient my thought is that it was hazardous and taken off the market , hence the huge reason for quality decline since 2015 that’s when it stopped being put in the canvas , they made no announcement Ofcourse instead they tried to see if people would keep buying canvas bags and what would happen well people kept buying and I’ve never seen so many poorly made bags I have also never seen so many repairs going back to the fashion house in all my years of collecting Louis Vuitton right now to be honest I don’t even look at their canvas bags as luxury anymore Autumn ,everyone I now have in my collection is pre 2015 except 2, my Pochette Accessories NM and my Epi leather Petit Noe ,I have since sold my Pochette Metis once it came back from repair I lost my love for carrying it because I knew their repair would only start to crack and peel yet again my source for the information on the canvas change is FoxyLV so it’s definitely confirmed the original canvas will no longer be they haven’t found a replacement for what is now missing from the once very durable life lasting canvas and I’m not sure they plan to find a replacement ,I feel their prices are no longer up to par with their quality where their canvas is concerned so I will not be making anymore canvas purchases sadly ,I do love their Epi leather but 1 bag for me is enough I also sold my Epi Pochette Accessories I was grabbing for the mono way more and decided I didn’t need 2 so I sold it to a friend who loves it and will use it rather than it sit in my closet ,would love to know your thoughts now that we have the truth in regards to their canvas and poor quality ? I also feel deep down these bags are no longer being hand sewn from beginning to end a master craftsman would never put an Slock on crooked a bag that isn’t made correctly should not be passing inspection for such a large luxury brand , being sent an obvious used dirty dingy Epi petit noe not once but twice shows me their returns are also not throughly inspected it’s turned me off from the brand completely to be honest I have decided to enjoy the bags I do own from LV that are made extremely well and to steer clear of them right now unless they beef up their quality , their wanting to be more exclusive is also going to price out so many people I think it’s truly a sad sad time for Louis Vuitton ! PS I opened the delightful GM old model I missed it after selling it a lot but I have the Melie and so far it is holding up beautifully but I don’t see it lasting as long as my petit Noe’s , my Tivoli GM or my Trevi Pm The bags that I own now I will never give up

It's great that you're so decisive about selling when you're not using a piece. I have such a hard time with that. It would be interesting to do a canvas comparison now that the canvas has changed. I don't think they're made by hand either. They can't be in the quantities they're made. I wonder how this news will affect preloved prices.

These bags I don't believe were ever hand sewn, and considering the amount of bags they produce, I think it would be impossible and cost prohibitive considering the ridiculous profit they expect to make.

I have one in the damier ebene and I don't have any trouble with the straps being hard and cutting in my shoulder..also love we get the extra little pochette inside. I've heard they might be discontinuing the never fully too, I'm hoping not since I would love to have the monogram one too

I bought that exact model Delightful MM on Poshmark. (Date code was 2012) I love it but the strap does drive me crazy sliding off my shoulder all the time. (I recently attended a business conference and the weight I had in the bag really helped with that issue. haha) You definitely got a deal! I was told I was purchasing the GM so I paid $875 and it’s in GREAT, near perfect condition. But it turned out to not be true so considering that I feel like I got ripped off a bit. But it’s still better than paying full price. I’d love to have a damier azure Neverfull with the pink lining. But I also like the Pochette Métis challenge. My husband laughs at me over that one... So we’ll see what comes next! I’m new to the LV world. Burberry is my first love.
