[DETAILED] HOW TO: DRAFT A BASIC SKIRT PATTERN|| DIY BASIC SKIRT PATTERN|| BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Learn how to draft a basic skirt pattern from scratch using your own measurements in this video. I break it all down in this video explaining the difference between your front and back measurements and how to get them.
Please note: all measurements in this video are based on a half bodice pattern. This is because, in pattern drafting, you draft for half the bodice and either cut on a fold or cut two separate pieces.
This video is beginner friendly and very detailed. I hope you find it very helpful.

Hey trying this patterns but it not working for me because I am left with 1/8 inches and failing to create darts

I feel silly. In the hip front measurement you say to remove a quarter inch and then when scoring the pattern you add a quarter inch around 4:30 or so. How should I mark the hip front?
