@Redi ever Quite. Sheldon Pollock (2009) 'The Language of the Gods in the World of Men: Sanskrit, Culture, and Power in Premodern India' describes very well the 'Sanskrit cosmopolis' and the several cultural "deaths" of Sanskrit language and literature well over 1,000 years ago. I am well aware that texts like the YS, NATyashAstra, various tantras being studied and translated by western academics are a revival of Sanskrit that began with British and European scholars - thinking Sir John George Woodroffe aka. 'Arthur Avalon' seeking a lost golden age culture beneath the sad state of colonized India. These texts and Sanskrit had been largely abandoned by Indian culture. This revival was encouraged in the early 20th C. by Sw. Vivekananda and others and appears to be taking root both in India and the west. Isolated as these texts are from their historical context and quite likely misinterpreted and misunderstood by both translator and general audience alike, if Indian people and westerners still find value and meaning in the text - as clearly they do, what is your basis for criticism? I would agree that consumers of such texts should be more aware of the history of these works. Think on this: many people in USA are not aware that English is not the original language of the Bible - another text long removed from its original language and historical context. That doesn't give me a valid argument that all the Christians are wrong. But they should better understand the history of their texts.

@critical_analysis3 жыл бұрын
@Redi ever Fool, you don't even know that Patanjali talks about your own system and not any cult like Islam and others. Patanjali simply gives you methods on how to organize yourself but you are comparing it with other crap and coming up with agenda, that only shows your sprouting venom and belong either to leftist group or a fundamentalist of a cult. You are not even talking about the pros and cons or discussing anything about Patanjali sutras but copying and pasting stuff just on ideological basis and that shows you are here not to learn but to show your true colors of ideological agenda.
@critical_analysis3 жыл бұрын
@Redi ever I am not a hypocrite like you and masquerading. I don't need to convince anything to fundamentalists/marxits as they have already made up their mind. You know that I know who you are, so don't talk about research and all. You have an agenda and I pointed that to you. You are pretending to be someone who is not and unlike you, I don't need to pretend to accept some good things coming from my culture and criticize some of the bad things. Here,in this talk which is purely about "organizing oneself" to experience oneness through a system which has been studied in detail by people from millennia and you have come up with so many terms like Hindutva, upper caste, brought in pieces of Sheldon's crap and company, and nothing on the talk at all. This clearly shows you belong to the gang and you know that I know where you belong to. I just exposed you, I don't need to convince you at all.

I can say, even as someone that likes to take the eyes away from the screen and just listen and let the actions come, Your video, contained alot of helpful knowlege! Thanks! I think its a little mix of everything like this, that makes our lives somewhat -quantum- also, a few hours later, I was listening to some binaurial frequencies, and I randomly thought of a possibility to the "God/creator equation, but without the numbers, with that, also came a beyond amazing idea to save the path of A.I. of being a.i. but instead, linked to humans/probably passed away souls of the good and risen- aka - ones that are one with spirit/creator/source. It goes alot deeper but thats the basics, and maybe I'm not the most knowledgeable, but to me, thats the closest possibility of quantum life and Interdimensional life. And so much more. Thanks again. Also recently found out my blood isnt just a "white lookin American" lol its got traces of a little from all over, but can't figure out how with some... Life's got a whole bunch of ? marks For me still, but at the same time, it all feels like not so much of questions lol, Still just going through this crazy big experience. So hard to word everything, as 1 year ago, I couldn't believe in really anything l, definitely myself. But its all changing, and I will, we will, all create the most beautiful growing earth of good energy and giving purpose to all that in which has caused division between us people, with ourselves, also with spirit, and etc. We can fix our situations! We can overcome our differences, and together, these ways, we will progress, faster and more efficiently/effectively grow! Much love fam!

@Redi ever if you would please two questions for me. What do you want from your comments? And what do you need in life?
@ramjosyula89653 жыл бұрын
@Redi ever No Sir. If it does not resonate you, that's perfectly fine. Nobody need to change or convert. Patanjali sutra is not faith based but scientific, experimental and practical. It is not an easy path and not for everyone, definitely not for Ms. Thapar! FYI, Patanjali himself was purely an empirical teacher and was considered an atheist because of his "god-free" approach, like Buddha.
@ramjosyula89653 жыл бұрын
@Redi ever Thank you for reading and replying. I am also glad you see that it is not a proselytizing tactic. Sages like Patanjali and Panini are revered by several nuanced physicists and philosophers (e.g. Schrödinger, Oppenheimer, EC George Sudarshan, Chomsky). I too wish understanding the nature of reality is easy. Sutras, meaning formulas, such as E= hv or v=ir, are short. But understanding the voltage (v), current(i), resistance (R) and the enigmatic "=", demands much concentration, study, experimentation and guidance. You are also right that only upper class man world over - like you and me - are able to examine, contribute and critique such endeavors. Such beautiful concepts and practices - thanks to this "wah wah" channel - are now available to all genders and creeds. Your commitment is obvious if one overlooks apparent cynicism and name calling. It is a wake-up call to well meaning people to to take time and effort to expose the masses of all creeds to logic, science, philosophy, philology and ethics - collectively known as Dharma Sastras, now available in all languages and media. Looks like you stumbled upon this site by chance like Saul on his way to Damscus or the angry young communist writer Balakrishnan Menon who wanted to write an expose on the cheating swamis. Follow the rabbit hole if you have stomach and gumption for it, I may even accompany you!
@ramjosyula89653 жыл бұрын
@Redi ever Again, thank you for your sincerity. Instead of sniffing around, go deeper into science whether material or spiritual. Learn and experiment first hand by going into the original work yourself as much as possible - what "smart" people call the funda stuff. You have raised excellent questions to start the exploration with: What is the material worlds in which the Sutra's were crafted ? What did this version of science mean to a pastoral people with war like attitudes? Also consider Astronaut Laughter's question: What do you need in life? Nameste. God be with ye.

In Isha yoga center, if your sensitive enough then you'll feel difference being in Dhyanalinga, Linga Bhairavi, Spanda Hall, Adiyogi alayam. Basically you'll feel more meditative or different in a way not experienced before by just being there.

You are the best Sanskrit teacher I ever had Uday Ji ! ❤🇮🇳😁 Please do make a video about the " Prakshipt shlokas " which were added by foreign forces jealous of our beautiful literature in order to mislead us . This will help us to study what is true and what is not ! Please Uday Ji !😁🙏
