If every product had such an informative explanation they would sell a lot more. Thank you

As much as I want to like this, there is one crucial important question that wasn't answered. Does the unit have way point easing? While one might be able to fake easing with extra way points, that means one is very limited in the types of moves they can do because of how few way points the software has. Honestly I thought the original zeapon software from the mini1 slider had easing options, but it doesn't seem to have those on this upgraded version. So does it have easing?
@TownleyVM Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately no. Maybe in a he future updates.
@billyoung9538 Жыл бұрын
@@TownleyVM That is unfortunate, and sadly severely limits this product when compared to most of its competition. Zeapon really need to address this if they hope to really participate in the market ehy are trying to.
@montalvomachado6 ай бұрын
That´s a serious problem they should have addressed long ago. The interface I had when I purchased the slider had ease in and ease out graphs, but they just killed it on the "upgrade". I tried contacting Zeapon about this issue, but they couldn´t care less about it. The answer was "No, you can´t do that anymore", and that was that. Zeapon´s customer care is disgusting.

@@montalvomachado I thought I herd a rumor that they add easing back in on newer units, but I've never bothered revising it on my older slider. If they ever do add easing then they need to make sure everyone knows as it's a massive limitation. I moved on to a lager manual dolly system as it turned out to be less expensive to operate fro my needs than all these sliders with pan tilt systems.

Very appreciate your excellent guide video.😊 It's practical, speaking in mid to low speed is very kind for non English-native viewers(I'm living in Taiwan). BTW, why almost every Canadian on KZbin are so good at making guide videos?

Thank you. Glad to hear it was easy to understand. Not sure about why Canadians make good guide videos. ;)

Were you able to use this for repeatable motion control in order to get a cloning effect ?
@TownleyVM2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the key is to ensure everything is tightly locked down and there are no wobbles. It took me a couple tries to figure out that I had something a little loose and it was creating some movement, but it can be done.

@@TownleyVM Thats great to hear. A small episode with your cloning adventures would be a great idea 🙂

Has anyone tried to use this for Panoramas, and therefore need to shift the camera to get close to the nodal point of the lens. Was it necessary to use an extra plate to get the correct position?
@Mastroprimo2 жыл бұрын
Its able to repeat the movements at frame precision for multi shoot composite ?
@TownleyVM2 жыл бұрын
I have not tried that as of yet. Last I looked, it does not save a set of movements. The only way that would work is if it is not turned off. Again, I haven’t tried, but would be curious to see if it works. Great question.
@Mastroprimo2 жыл бұрын
@@TownleyVM yeah it will be a cheap solution for scale models multi pass shoots. Also its possible to slide the camera position to match nodal point for an x camera + lens combo and use it as a proper panoramic gimbal head for 360° shooting ie ?

I look this item up on Amazon. There are a couple of reviews that say you can hear the motors running when you are recording. Is that true?
@TownleyVM10 ай бұрын
I haven’t experienced that as I don’t normally use the audio from camera. There is definitely a noise the camera could likely pickup on but there is such good software now to remove that. Not something I’m worried about. Valid question though.

It’s all in the settings and the lens you use. By the sound of it you are wanting to do a multi image stitch like 4x3 or something like that. I would have to take a look at the settings again but believe if you are using a wide lens, that may be the issue. Try using a longer lens like a 50 or 70. Let me know how that goes.
