Thanks for the video, I need to perfect doing parts on my own head. This helped a little. I need to figure out how many rows to do so that all the squares are a consistent size... Also, at some point at the top our head curves so the front parting you did in the beginning helped me see how it was possible to aline the curved lines with the front parts.

Start with four parts at the base, the next row up make sure the parting line is in the middle of the box below. If you follow that, then it will be easy

Honestly as long as your head is as full as you want it you’re on the right track. Everyone’s head is different so you may get more or less parts in your head, but still roughly the same 47.
