I just got this one. It was actually after that Tyrant cop pulled you over saying you were going 90 in a 70 and you knew you were only doing 63 that really convinced me. Now, I'm back to see how to understand this camera. Hope you're well my friend

Thanks for the compliments. About your question: according to the California law where I reside, you can make a legal right turn on Red a light, only if two conditions are met. 1. There are no crossing traffic to present danger. 2. If you made a complete STOP on the red light prior to making the right turn. My case did not meet any of these conditions, however my right turn on RED light was legal based on another law in California. This law allows you to make a right turn on a Red Light if your vehicle has already entered the intersection during the Orange Light.

A very well done video indeed! Is there any way to quick save an important video such as an accident right in front of you? I hear other brands such as Garmin and users say; Garmin, save video. Does Rove have anything similar?

Thank you, so this does not have voice activation like Garmin does, however it records continuously regardless if there is an event. Once the memory card is full it starts overwriting on the oldest recordings first and works it's way up to the newer ones. So the bigger the size of your SD Card the longer event history you will have. Also it has a shock sensor that if you get in to an accident yourself " God Forbid" it will save that video and never overwrites on it.

If you press the emergency lock/WiFi button it will lock that video from being overwritten.

Yes, you need to download the app and follow the same steps as I did. This dash cam is only equipped with one camera facing forward, you can't record the opposite side of the lens. So I use 3 Dash cams in my truck one facing forward, one facing the driver and passenger, and the third one on the rear window facing outside

Yes, you can combine split video clips on any video editing software such as Microsoft Video Editor, Apple Movie Maker, Adobe Premier, Apple Finalcut, Camtasia, OBS, Corel Video Studio, and more.

Yes if if your car's cigarette lighter port loses power when the ignition key is turned OFF. On some cars even when the ignition key is turned off you still have power in the Cigarette Lighter port in that case you don't need to hard wire it.

Unfortunately wit the current firmware on the camera you can't do that since that is a part of the Date/Time stamp. Hopefully they will fix this issue with the future firmware updates. Although I doubt that they would do that since this gives them free advertisement.

Yes I am still using it and I am pretty satisfied with it compared to what I paid for it. I am not happy that they misrepresented it as a 4K Dash-cam when it has lower resolution than a true 4K. Also the 24 hour parking lot recording mode requires an additional hardware purchase which does not come with it.
