the 65/66 Fleetwood 60s were the best designs the model ever had. glad to see this one getting the attention it deserves. Loved the taping around the leaky windows to keep the moisture from the interior

When Cadillacs really LOOKED like Cadillacs…back then they really were the Standard of the World…many innovations and matchless luxury….

Interesting. In the US I've never seen a Fleetwood w/o a vinyl covered roof and A/C, also a T&T steering wheel. Must have been special ordered. Looks much better sans vinyl roof.

Indeed.

In 65 and 66 the Fleetwood came in two trim levels, the 60 Special and the Brougham. The 60 Special did not have the vinyl top and a few of the other features. I agree that to modern eyes the non-vinyl top looks better but it was the "lesser" Fleetwood.

@joehammond2586 Actually, the vinyl roof option was first offered on the 1963 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special and Coupe deVille models. Fast forward to the 1965 model year (and this focus is on the Fleetwood Sixty Special), the vinyl roof option, for the first time, was called Fleetwood Brougham, a vinyl roof ONLY option, available at $198.90 extra. For 1966, the Fleetwood Brougham became a separate model from the Sixty Special and while overall appearance was almost identical, the Brougham continued to feature the vinyl roof, of course, but also added rear seat amenities such as folding down footrests (which would be included through the 1977 model year), swiveling adjustable reading lamps on the sail panels (through the 1992 model year) and fold-down illuminated trays built into the the front seatback (1966 and 1967 only; a pair of large storage pockets with snap flaps would replace those for 1968 and were exclusive to that year), which were the main differences between the two and the Brougham was naturally considered the more luxurious, albeit slightly, as a result. Again, the 1965 Fleetwood Brougham DIDN'T have the aforementioned interior amenities.

Beautiful car, Why don't you fix the crooked bumpers ?
@PuraCarsDetail3 жыл бұрын
This car belongs to Museu do Caramulo, they have limited budgets so some fixes have to wait a little bit longer 😕

I had The same car, you either had to remove the wheel skirt or clean the wheel, drive forward 2 feet, to get the rest

Qual é a história do carro?
