As several of our users have pointed out, we used some rather interesting spellings for "rejuvenate" and "contaminate" in this video. I’m 15, and because I live in the state of New York, I can’t drive on the road. My great uncle gave my parents his forester before he passed away. We owned the car for the last 8ish years. Well, the muffler fell off and it sounded great. My dad hated it, so he decided that he would finally trade it in. I saw super excited to learn on the forester. He did let me drive it briefly, but obviously not on the road. He traded it in for a used CR-V. Within seconds I knew the car had major damage. Then my mom yelled at me for making her feel like she can’t buy a car. I told her that I want to inspect the car before they buy it, which I would have noticed all the flaws. I was super excited to have it as my first car, but that dream is gone. If you read this, thanks. I just needed to share somewhere, and I figured an automotive channel would be the best place. I figured I should also say, it was the 06 4 cylinder and an automatic. Not really an enthusiastic vehicle, but I liked it.

I was under the impression that the swirl marks seen in clearcoat are caused by the wind passing over your car while driving, which essentially looks like little twisters passing over the paint. I've seen the wind tunnel testing showing as much.

Great video, spelling errors and all. You did a great job and it serves as a reminder that even with the newest paint tech out there, every car is going to suffer from the elements. Nobody, and am pretty sure I speak for the majority here, has the time to care for their cars at this level. My BRAND NEW car didn't come to me looking as good as this 200k mile car looked leaving your shop. Mine has had swirl marks since day and mile 1. If you were located closer to me (3,000 miles away) I'd be in tomorrow to have you do mine. However, I hate my car and can't wait until I turn it in 18 months from now.

I wonder how the car was with chips and what not. My Mazda 3 with about 31k miles on it (I've owned it since it had 170 miles on it) is straight riddled with rock chips, other kinds of chips, and now a few places where rust is even building in the chips. Idk if it's just because you wouldn't see them as easily in a video, but that car seems pretty damn clean of chips and what not. Lucky them I guess x)
