To be fair it wasn’t in particularly poor condition, it’s what we would expect to see on an m4 that age and mileage. Dealers just don’t have the margin to properly detail a car unfortunately

Mines in San Marino blue…. Personally I think that’s the best colour👌 Lime rock grey is nice but black just doesn’t float my boat! Great job there tho.👍

Great result Pete, out of curiosity would you advise the best time of year to get some protection on your car? And which do you think provides th best protection ceramic coating / PPF? Another great video 👍🏻

I would suggest that your car benefits from protection the most in winter time due to the harsher contaminants that it faces. The real answer is ASAP. With the proper maintenance the car will stay looking it’s best year round. Regarding PPF. I personally don’t rate it, particularly on a cost basis, then you have its appearance that declines over time, damage that needs replacement that often costs as much or more than repainting would do and it’s only upside is chips. I removed it from my own vehicles and we stopped selling it along time ago as a result.
