Owners requested to have them removed which actually helps as they would be tricky to polish around anyway.

I’m a coach driver and know for a fact the first time this guy hits the brakes the Alcoa wheels will be brown with brake dust I bring my motor to a near stop using the exhaust brake as to not cause dust and heat up the wheels. Never clean alcoas while they’re hot or even warm. Ruins the coating

I don’t think this is a Volvo paint job looking at the hideous paint runs at 11:34 !
@The_Stronzo2 жыл бұрын
No lorry comes clear coated out the factory unless you special order it from Volvo that way which only really happens in their main plant in Belgium(I think it’s in Belgium don’t quote me on that, it’s somewhere in that general direction). They’re all dressed in single stage paint, primer then 2k base coat. As long as you look after the paint it doesn’t really fade.

@@The_Stronzo Metallic colors come with clear coat.
@ilkkak30652 жыл бұрын
@Jamie Evo Companies that buy them new, only drive them 3-5 years and 500-900 000 km. After that they go to second user who usually repaint them to their own colours. Not much need to shine from clear coat since it stays clean after wash like half of day when driven over 600 km per day. Show trucks are a different story.
