Great videos! Do you have suggestions on what to use to get bugs off? Don’t want to scrub too hard and need to be careful of the VG’s on my 182. In previous videos it looks like you wash planes with a spray and wipe off with a rag vs bucket of soap and water/brush and hose and it looks much cleaner and faster than old school way of washing.

So i generally use a 1:20 dilution of Optimum No-Rinse. It may just need to soak a bit longer to rehydrate the bugs. Always best to take your time rather than scrubbing. I also have been known to spray some foam cleaners with a handheld foamer for longer dwell time. Here are some of the product. I feel you on the pad cleaning. Recently 2-stepped a chalky RV and it felt like I spent as much time on the pad washer 4000 as on the vehicle. Do you still just do the 'Persian Pad-washer' bucket method?

Yup, just a bucket and some spray cleaner, if no bucket, a trashcan!
