That’s the So Called Adults fault for not keeping a eye on their kids not the cruise line. Cruise ships aren’t baby sitters. On another post I read he got off with the grandmother and they were waiting for whatever and he wandered off. How true that is who knows.

"The policy for underaged youth leaving cruise ships" doesn't need to be reviewed. I KNOW from experience since I'm a 76 yo grandmother who was in the SAME Caribbean Princess ship, and I wanted my 15yo grandson to leave the ship "at will" and we were not allowed! When the person/youth scans their medallion a big WARNING comes on (maybe in red) that says that that person has to be accompanied. TRUST ME.... we had to "move mountains" to let our 15yo grandson leave the ship for his "runs" (he's a runner for the HS he belongs to at home in Seattle)

I can understand the concern people in Sitka have, an understanding has to be reached. Both sides can benefit. The groups that want to cut down on cruise business are made up of people that have probably never been on a cruise before. Rather than spending money time and effort fighting them, the cruise lines would be better off inviting key players on a cruise so they can experience it, learn the truth about CURRENT environmental impact, not data from 30-40 years ago. Give them a behind the scenes tour and emphasize how good it is for the local economy. A drink package wouldn't hurt either. 😊

That's the trouble with the whole "green" movement. They have absolutely no problem with twisting facts and skewing statistics to get what they want, which despite their veneer of sincerity is money. Scientists and academics have been given extremely generous grants by donors with agendas. Seems we haven't learned much from the "plandemic" crisis.
