It's crazy how Colorado fans all turn evil against every player who left. Truth is. Shedeur and travis need to earn attention. Colorado needs to earn attention. They went 4 and 9. They had the worse record in pac12. Travis gave up 250 yards and 3 touchdowns in 1 game and still started and stayed in. Travis gave up more yards and catches, and TDs vs Stanford than cormani gave up all year. We can cheer for Colorado and Deion and not become evil cult hating

Nobody will get mad if Prime does it. Why would they? Everybody does it. Prime fans got to get over the everybody is out to get Prime mentality. Prime doesn’t do it for 2 reasons. 1) He hasn’t filled all his scholarship spots. 2) He doesn’t have an NIL collective that can put up that kind of money. Prime fans have the least knowledge about the CFB system, but complain the loudest.

Maybe but it won't be because of this. It will be because coaches are complaining that the money game isn't fair. It would also mean that all players are considered equal so ALL players would have to be paid even if they're not that good. Then the schools would go back to cheating and paying "extra incentives" under the table, like they used to do.

The Best Buffs 🎥 since Prime's arrival. Short, Best info & to the point w/out the hate. McCain's deal is the 🐊 way of NOT paying him. Prime torn down that young man's confidence. Especially when you 👀 Travis Hunter get 🔥 for 294yds & 3TDs all in the 2nd half against Stanford. Colorado Up 19-0 at halftime, lose 24-19. Can blame McClain for that.
@kalonzohart7267
@kalonzohart7267 Ай бұрын
Travis Hunter turned down Power 5 school scholarships to play at an HBCU with Coach Prime. (Jackson State) Shilo, Shedeur, and Cam all did the same. They thrived in the HBCU environment before transferring to a Power 5 School. (Colorado) Now they all are excelling at the Power 5 level as individual athletes. Cormani should have taken the same route and gone to a solid HBCU like North Carolina Central in the MEAC or FAMU in the SWAC, balled out, matured, and transferred to a Power 5 school with at least two years of eligibility left. As far as skill positions, HBCU's have elite players at those positions, so Cormani would have had a chance to really grow his skill sets before heading back to the Power 5. Lil bro would rather starve and walk on to a Power 5 school team rather than take a full scholarship and some NIL money from a Quality HBCU football program. Pride and EGO SMH.

I don't care where a player goes, if his/her mind ain't right... success is far off.
@machiavellisprince5986
@machiavellisprince5986 Ай бұрын
Cormani didn't have to go to an HBCU. Corman's father didn't need his help. Cormani couldn't follow a Hall of Fame CB to an HBCU which is the only reason why Travis Hunter did it. And it's not that easy to jump from an HBCU to a Power 5 school. Prime made it look easy because he brought players with him. They usually treat HBCU players like they just treated Cormani. Like they're not that good no matter what they've done. Plus... a full scholarship at an HBCU is not valued the same as one from a PWI. I remember corporate job recruiters came to my school and I asked if they go to nearby HBCUs as well and they said NO.
@kalonzohart7267
@kalonzohart7267 Ай бұрын
@machiavellisprince5986 I was specifically referring to what Cormani McClain could have done after leaving Colorado, especially if he had stayed on positive terms with Deion Sanders. My point remains that under such circumstances, Cormani could have easily gone to an HBCU and succeeded and came back easily to a Power 5 school. I was not referring to what that process looks like for normal HBCU football players today.

Question on this = First thing I thought about is "Does this allow any/all teams to go over the current number of scholarships allowed limits"? Can a school like Alabama bring in the max scholarship players and then lets say want 10 more guys and for those ten simply allow their "neutral - lol" NIL peeps work up a deal that is then raised just enough more to account for a full scholarship? I have been listening and reading up on this and have not heard anyone discuss this yet. Man the college world of NIL is crazy good and crazy bad all mixed together : -)

He might have been a starter at Colorado but his conduct, class attendance and willingness to comply to team rules has been questioned. I guess he felt entitled and just showing up was all he needed to do. It's so easy for these young guys to believe their own hype. Florida didn't buy this guy out. It seems that Prime wasn't happy with this guy and it was either leave or fall. If true, that makes sense why Florida got him with a performance based contract. That performance isn't just on the field but as a student. Lets see if this talented kid can get out of his own way.
