I've stayed at the MGM at least 10 or more times over the years - the best part of this property is the pool area. The lazy river is one of the best pools in Vegas and the place is really clean and nice. However, I have seen some dating of the carpets and rooms. When they went to a parking fee, a resort fee, and then expected me to tip them - I started looking for another option. Not that I'm cheep or can't fork up a few bucks now and then - but the resort is nickel and dime -ing you to death at every opportunity they can. It's not like they are losing money - they aren't. When I started going to Vegas, the place was a good deal, plenty of comps, and if lucky you could actually go there and make money - that's no more.

I went there this Christmas. I would say it’s ok. But the Cesar palace was the best. If you’re planning to take the trip to Las Vegas stay at the palace. You must try the buffet. The best in town.
