Beautiful hair. Only thing had me on edge is the shampooing. I have this type of hair and because it so thick getting a proper wash to the center of the head can be a issue. Applying shampoo around the edges then scrubbing the inside is cool, but Applying shampoo to the center and srubbing from the center to the ends helps allot. because it's so thick you kinda have to do it both ways. And even with doing conditioner.

Omg! My baby has the same type of hair and she cries when I detangle it. She keeps protective styles because she doesn't enjoy getting her hair combed. Do you have any advice on keeping the curls moisturize so that she can wear more curly styles? Once her hair dries it draws up and looks dry.

Try putting hair oil on last, the oil will lock in the moisture and all the products put on previous. Limit heat

Use products with no alcohol

Moisture as in water and sealing with oil. You have to do this often. Multiple times a week until the hair reached a certain moisture level and is able to retain moisture longer.
