welcome back to the channel. Here in this video I’m looking at using a detector in a creek to find lead which puts me on gold. Lucky to find small nuggets and a specimen. Hope you enjoy leave a comment like and subscribe.

As time goes on gold is getting a little harder to find as we get older and walking for miles on end gets harder. I’ve recently started up in your stomping ground as I’ve found it a bit easier going to enjoy my outings. Your videos fill the gaps between my trips and give me hope that there is some nice colour still out there. Take care and enjoy.

I'm lucky kangaroos can't jump on me lol The lead is unusually large. I think of natural origin, not from firearms. Great stone with the colors. Could be a gold surprise. Hi Glenno, thanks for showing. ATB Peter 🤠⚒🇩🇪👍🍻

Your theory is rite my friend ! Many days in California we go out to the big rivers and target hunt trash signals in bedrock cracks. They always pay out. Where the trash lays the pay stays !

Good one Glen. I bought a Monster 1000 for just doing that. I use short pieces of fencing wire with a small piece of rag attached to the top. I detect down the stream for about 30 to fifty metres, placing the flags as I find targets, then turn around and look upstream to see where the pay line is. It works nearly 100% of the time, although the 4500 used to give me 100%. Heavier to cart around though

Yes it’s great and clean the creek of that toxic lead

Thanks Crouch I will have to do a specific gravity test as it’s so hard to know I might video it lol made that video at the same time I went in that mine

Thanks for another video from out Hill End way Glen. I've been spending a fair bit of time out there lately and hopefully I may bump into you one day. The water in the smaller creeks is getting unbearably cold now but my latest insulated gloves from Bunnings are a good thing. About a week ago at Nundle I located some very old gravels on an inside bend on the Peel and stayed in one spot and panned it for two days straight until the river came up overnight. That's Ok, plenty left for next time too.
@getdownanddirtyprospecting2 жыл бұрын
Was going to head to Nundle Friday but went to the Coffs area instead because of the cold
@Peacekeeper19662 жыл бұрын
@@getdownanddirtyprospecting , yes Glen the season is against the warm blooded prospector. I live basically half way between Hill End and Nundle areas so when I head out, it's a look at the BOM site to make a decision to head north or south.

I've got a little beach treasure detector which was really cheap but gets the job done. It's only got one knob 🤣 I started out looking for places to look for gold by finding steel and lead and this takes me back. Since then I got a pin pointer and now search cracks and crevices and have great results. I'm happy to find anything even lead. great video and especially that specimen.❤️💛💚👍

Well done Glenno. I am really rapped for you. That is a mighty specie. We have been told in the shop that people use the gold monster to do what you did but this is the first time I have seen it done. I think it makes sense with what you did. Most people complain about finding soo much lead but for all your lead you are also finding fine gold that adds up. Bloody ripper mate. Well chuffed for you. Take care mate 👍👍😁

Are you sure that the light gray pieces are lead? Looks a bit like mercury/gold amalgam.
