Some nice finds. Coins were full silver (92.5%) up to 1920 were they dropped to 50% to pat WW1 debt. Coins went from 50% to 0% after 1948 to pay WW11 debt. We were sending our silver to USA who had lent us the money.

@Lincolnshires History I noticed the sanding.... the few targets I did get were really deep and nothing to shout about. It was freezing cold, but nice and sunny and worth the drive out for me. Looking forward to getting down there after some winter storms have stripped it all back again....roll on the rough weather!!😜
