I met detectives Lange and Van Atter in Atlanta regarding another murder (prior to the OJ murder). They were sharp detectives. RIP Det. Van Atter and I wish the best for Tom Lange. Both were class acts in the short time I "worked" with them when they travelled to Atlanta. Their insight into the upcoming olympics in Atlanta (they had them n L.A. years earlier) were spot on.

Furthermore, I don't understand how anybody can say the gloves didn't fit. It looks they fit on OJs hands just fine. It also looked like OJ was definitely trying to put them and wear them in such a way that would perhaps embellish the tightness.

Mark, I read a story somewhere that said Simpson was taking arthritis medication, and whenever he didn't take it, it would cause his hands to swell. The story said Cochran had spoken with a doctor friend of his who tipped him off about this, and Cochran told OJ not to take his medication on the day he was scheduled to try on the gloves. Sorry to respond to such an old comment, but the case continues to fascinate me all these years later. Cheers.

Police and News helicopters were flying over the murder scene on Bundy Street where Nicole Simpson lived; I'm sure that they were filming the entire scene, so they have film footage of the scene before OJ, Simpson got back to Los Angeles and after he arrived back. So if there were blood drops next to those bloody shoe prints they should have been there prior to OJ, arriving back to Los Angeles; and the Police and News, helicopters should have this evidence on film and be able to prove that the blood drops were next to the bloody shoe prints prior to OJ's, arrival back to Los Angeles. And when the defense for OJ, argued that the blood drops next to the bloody shoe prints were planted by the LAPD; why didn't the Prosecutors say that's not true, and present the film footage taken by the helicopters of the crime scene and prove that the blood drops were there prior to OJ's, arrival back to Los Angeles. The prosecutors do that they would have won the case; reason that the prosecutors couldn't present the helicopters film footage was because it would have shown that the blood drops were not next to the bloody shoe prints an only appeared next to the bloody shoe prints after OJ, arrived back to Los Angeles. Which means that the blood drops next to the bloody shoe prints were planted using the preserved blood OJ, gave to the LAPD, and the entire case against OJ, would have been thrown out of court. Now, that helicopter film footage should still be available have the LAPD, release the film and or the News Media they won't the LAPD won't because it would prove misconduct at the highest level there; and the News Media, won't because they make more money using the image of OJ, Simpson in a negative light. Release the film footage taken by the helicopters at the Bundy Crime scene, and prove to us in the public that those blood drops were on the ground next to those bloody shoe prints prior to OJ, Simpson arriving back to Los Angeles; and I will believe that he killed Ron and Nicole, outside of that the LAPD, framed Simpson for something he didn't do!

Of course he's bitter, a vicious psychopath literally got away with a double murder because the Defense team manipulated the jury at an incredibly sensitive time in L.A. where race related friction was at an all time high. The L.A police did a good job, it was unfortunate that Mark Furhman had to be put on the stand since he was one of the first cops on the scene, the Prosecution had no choice. No, I do not believe he planted the glove. He, along with all the other police had no idea what had happened at that stage. It would have been impossible for them to predict what would come to fruition so early on post-double murder.
