I was there. Meg was my friend and so is Bur. Jennifer lied the entire time. During the search she wore an entire sweatsuit in the middle of summer. Make up on and hair straightened. She never left the home base to help search possible the police wouldn’t let her but what kind of mother comes all dolled up? I would look like a nervous wreck and definitely would be out searching. Never saw her cry but witnessed her laughing multiple times. She acted like she knew nothing, made it seem like Meg was off “hiding” some place and showed very little emotion. The ping on Meg’s cell phone was the first location Meg got out of the car and called Bur. Her mom said that’s where she got out which is why we combed grand island looking for Meg. We had no clue Meg was 9 whole miles away. Jennifer lied on location of where she FELL out. Jenifer knew she had the door open and accelerated around a corner throwing Meg out of the car. Who leaves their daughter in a ditch? For over a WEEK? Let’s her friends and family cry, while screaming her name combing an entire island…all well knowing we wouldn’t find her because she wasn’t even on the island. She also lied to detectives. She was just as awful to Meg as Meg was to her. Their relationship was toxic on several occasions especially after her parents got divorced and Jennifer remarried. Why? Because her stepdad was a CREEP. Jennifer said some awful things to one of Meg’s best friends in court after all this. “How dare you come here to shame me” she isn’t remorseful at all. She’s a living monster. Gia however is flourishing and Bur is the best dad to her. Rest in peace Meg. You’re constantly on our minds.

Either have a conversation with your mom or let her go. You’re allowing her to treat you this way. You need to break the cycle. Give her an ultimatum. Either acknowledge and take accountability and start building trust and respect, never bringing up the past; or go separate ways. There is no reason to keep allowing this behavior. You can love your mom from a distance if things aren’t going to change. That is no way to live your life. You’re forty years old, stop being a victim. & you allowing her to put her hands on you as a grown woman is absolutely insane. Press charges against her and let the state deal with her. Whether she was calling to apologize, beg her to come home, or tell her she's a low life piece of crap, she would have been texting and calling her. Driving up and down the road. All the way home. Or her mother straight-up lied about that.

@@jennybrandt5188 Did it ever clarify whose hair? The weird computer guy said there was blonde hair found in the car. The mother claimed it was hers in the police interview. There is no other information given that I can recall confirming or recanting if it was the mothers or daughters. It wasn't elaborated on.

Still don't know how Meighan ended up 9 miles and over an embankment from where she exited the car. The video said she didn't walk it. I believe that "mother" had everything to do with her daughters demise!
@troyvogt5469 ай бұрын
She first stated that she slammed on the brakes when her hair was pulled (11:32 minute mark). She then changed her story and said that she began slowing the car down because the daughter was opening the door, starting to get out while pulling her hair. Edit: She searches for her daughter for 30 minutes, driving back and forth and even called BUR, but didn't make an attempt to call her daughter?? She didn't discover her daughters phone until she got home, so why didn't she call it? Instead of shouting out the window?
@jacobyoder41669 ай бұрын
At one point she said she tried calling her daughter but her daughter didn't even answer. That didn't make sense because she said her daughter didn't take her phone with her.

The autopsy shows blunt force trauma so I cannot understand why it's being ruled as an accident. The mother refused lie detector. She changed her story. The details didn't add up. Sadly Meghans death clearly wasn't taken seriously despite all the evidence pointing to her mother killing her
@Jessgifted16 ай бұрын
this murder is still unsolved in my opinion. The aortic dissection and blunt force trauma was not explained by the medical examiner. This girl was murdered by the mother, and its very obvious. Also notice the huge gaps in her story surrounding the events in and outside of the car, 'she got out the car' and nothing after that? she didn't ran off or screamed or tried to get her toddler out? so many gaps in her story. Very poor investigation, body found quite a distance from the road way, with no damage to her bare feet, blunt force trauma including aortic dissection and yet she gets away with murder?! was the car/ dash board examined for evidence/ traces of blood? did the suspect undergo a medical exam for signs of a struggle, scratch marks etc? this is one of worse detective work to be published on youtube

I have a 36 yo daughter, and not once have we ever physically fought! I can't even imagine being in a yelling at my daughter. That's unimaginable! What kind of parent are you to do this? Clearly the mother has issues. Although I don't always agree with my daughter, we don't fight about anything. I keep my nose out of her business(family). If she asks for ideas, I'll help but nothing beyond that. I'm so sorry Gia lost her mother to her own mother. That little girl is in for a difficult ride.

So sketchy. The fact that she deliberately misled the police, the disregard for the well being of her daughter and the very suspicious story she tells the police full of holes and gaps with no remorse or concern says it all. On top of the weird and dark feeling you get that she seems jealous and angry at her daughter.

27:10 I don’t understand how a venue can be guilty of murder because they tried to prevent someone from driving home drunk that can possibly do that with everyone. It Hass to be the responsibility the sole responsibility of the driver, not the venue.
@melodymedlock1604 ай бұрын
If you serve alcohol you absolutely can be held responsible. They can’t stop people from driving home but they have a responsibility to stop serving people alcohol when they reach a certain point of intoxication. It’s no different than restaurants or bars that hold liquor licenses.
