Can ground balance most ground noises out. Once you come out of that spot where it was noisy now quiet. You’ll notice the detector will be noisy outside of it. Just re-ground balance and go again. You can’t ground balance gold out ether..

First things first: Very nice video and the GPX 5000 is still the best! For sure! But I didn't get it at all! The GPX 5000 detector was released in 2011(?). That's quite close to TEN years now! Would you buy in 2020 a ten year old computer or an iPhone 5 (FIVE! Released 21. Sep. 2012)? For sure you would not! So why should I buy such an old detector? Why isn't there an automatic computer based calibration (threshold, interference, etc.). There are drones available that can follow you automatically. There is AI (artificial intelligence) in my toaster and in my toothbrush. But I have to calibrate my around 5,000 US-$ expensive detector manually? And: 2011 electronics is for sure more battery hungry than electronic of 2020. So what were changed in the GPX 5000 since release date (2011)? Why isnt there since TEN years no new detector which catches up the (AI / electronic) enhancements? For sure I can easily think off new features for those people which are prospecting in Australia's outback. As said: I didnt get it at all!

They have the GP 7000 , which is the updated model, but the real reason why you want buy a GPX is the price and coil options.

Still seems like such over priced primative tech in 2022 ! I want to only hear gold, and want an onboard screen displaying how deep and suggested size of the scanned gold, screen also to incl gps position saving … and for the price of a gold monster 1000 , cheers ! 😀
