Don’t despair Ed, I’ve been doing my own Downtown Hunt, so far I’ve opened 12 Blasters, 2 Hobby Boxes and I’ve got 4 Mega Boxes being delivered on Wednesday and all shipped to the U.K. so I have to pay VAT as well as postage. I could have bought a damn C.J. Downtown and would have been better off. I’m specifically hunting for a C.J. Stroud as I lived in Houston for nearly 20 years and fell in love with American Football. I do prefer College and tonight/tomorrow will be up till 5am watching the CFP Semi Finals and will feel like Shite all day tomorrow. I’ll let you know if I hit a DT on Wednesday 🙄

Holiday Blasters have been a gold mine for downtowns. Pulled two downtowns from eight blasters. I’ve seen multiple cases of regular blasters ripped with no downtowns. Might have more luck ripping megas as well.

That was rough for 12 blasters. Those full name variations were probably the most rare thing you pulled. You passed a few. They are usually worth about the same as the crunch times but go down in value fast the longer the product has been out. Crunch times seem to be 1 in every 4 boxes from what I have seen.

Sadly, I think the hot streak has run it's full course with the Donruss gig this year. I've pulled three dt's (Stroud, Quentin Johnston and Bryce Young)... with the last being pulled about a week ago. Got one from a Mega (bought 4 at Target and also pulled an Andre Reed auto /25 and a Tyler Scott auto), one from a Blaster and one from a Fat Pack. Since then I've opened almost a full case of blasters (both standard and the holiday boxes) and about 45-50 fat packs and one value pack without one single beefy card. I think the "hype" boxes that they first send out that are just extremely loaded to drive in sales are all accounted for and now, what remains of what extremely limited number of case hits (including Downtowns) are soon to become an urban legend. It was nice while it lasted.
