What mutual exclusion principle doesn't guarantee is that if the you don't see bands common in IR and Raman spectra the molecules is having centre of symmetry. This is because it may be possible that intensity of the common band is so weak in any one of the spectra that you cant find it.

Thanks. Even though the Asymmetric stretching in N2O has polarization, But why it is mentioned as DEPOLARIZED in the table.
