I know this is personnel preference here but I wouldn't consider not fighting leo back as the best outcome. Because if you do push him you end up getting to come back to Carl's house and seeing him again.

@fauzza zahir His son Leo only got his head injured and went to the hospital, if you pushed him and revisit Carl, there will be a hologram message from Leo saying he's coming out of the hospital and plans to visit Carl tomorrow

And I think is very canon for the story because one time Markus become violent he loses everything then he knows the answer isn't violence like a lesson.

​@@spacesushi210 Exactly. I said this in a different video. I see both options as an affirmation of why that way won't work. If he endures, Carl dies despite his best efforts to prevent further harm. So it gives him the idea that pacifism is not the way. If he wants freedom, he needs to do it with a closed fist. If he fights back, Leo "supposedly" dies in that moment, meaning his desire to fight led to a circumstance unwanted. So it gives him the idea the violence isn't the way. If he wants people to listen, he needs to do it with an open hand.

I remember a comment on Markus saying that the Androids would be great for people like Carl who need 24-hour support from someone. I have a family friend who has to leave her job to take care of her mom at home and it's stressful for her. Before anyone asks, no, she cannot take her to a retirement home. If I recall, it's because her mom's house has a high market value so she can't go to a retirement home.

I’m sorry but honestly Markus’s story is the only one that seems to be incomplete like there was supposed to be more, it doesn’t feel like the best ending cause it seems like it missing a big part of his story to end at least with Conner and Kara, they have a true best ending with Connor becoming a deviant and hanging out with Hank and having a hug and Kara having escape Detroit with Alice and Luther and can live a peaceful life as a family with no more Android law/rules

For those saying that saving Carl and killing Leo is the better option, here's what I have to say: Carl's death fits the story better because his whole purpose, in the beginning, is to awaken Markus and to allow him to realize that he is truly alive and not a machine that must obey every command a human gives him. Once Carl dies, it ignites a fire in Markus that drives his desire to free his people and build a better future for the coexistence of people and androids. By letting Carl live, yes, you do get to see him again, but the end sequence of the Markus v. Leo fight scene is Carl telling Markus to run away, which is somewhat counter-intuitive to what he had told Markus before about not letting people push him around, that he should hold his ground instead. Plus, Carl now has to deal with the grief of his son's death, while also losing his android friend/son. At least when Carl dies, he does not die in grief but rather with the optimistic belief that Markus will be able to create a better future for the world.

I love Markus's story because from the start, he was different. He was an RK model, specifically designed for Carl by Kamski. It might be considered a proof of Kamski expecting (or wanting) the androids deviate. And Markus especially must have been designed to be a friend, good and empathetic. The same with Connor, he was different from the start. Kara is a bit out of place, but for her, it was emotional trauma making her deviate.

@@tonyneri6245 Use some sort of video editor to increase the brightness, but it's going to mess with the colors if you do that. It takes time to find a good balance, and the worst part is not all videos, or even parts of videos, need the same level of editing to look right, so if you're really meticulous about it it will take forever to get everything just right. Most people I assume just increase the brightness a bit and maybe mess with saturation a bit and keep the same settings on every video and call it a day
