Very cool! Its a ahame so many classics are rotting away but its suvh a blessing when people like you save them. Im working on a plan to restore some older cars, too.

We try to save as much as we can. Sadly so many of these were left to rot away and with very little aftermarket parts it is very difficult to fully restore one of these.

Cool. Another find. The car review channel Shooting Cars posted 2 videos today. A 93 Shadow V6 convertible and an 89 Shadow ES turbo. Haven't watched them yet so don't know if they're any good. Thanks again for saving these parts from the crusher. I still can't believe they are getting hard to find. Seems like yesterday these parts were everywhere.

Honestly, I absolutely love doing this. I've learned so much in the past few years and always try to continue to learn.

Momma cat should be the mascot for the forgotten dailies. You may want to have a few of those shirts made up and sell them in the store. Good advertising and a easy way to get your name out. Cool color scheme on this one. I really like the leather trim and seats. Hopefully, the motor can be snapped back to life. Should help keep a few more turbo dodge cars going. I think it’s going to be spring before I get the Shelby Z’s drivetrain rebuilt and back in the car and running. I’m getting closer to the finish line and that first drive. Thanks for another entertaining video!

Momma cat is definitely a star in the videos and she deserves some recognition lol I was really hoping this one wasn't full of rust but sadly I think it is. Floors are one thing, but rockers, wheel wells and inner fenders just add way too much.

When I first saw the title I was praying it was going to be an 84". Nope! So's my life 😩. A nice find either way. Must be a very late 85' as with everything I've ever read 86' was the first year for the CS. Also those taillights with the emblems attached to the bottom were definitely an 86' year style change. I'd say the woodgrain was definitely done by a previous owner for as far as I'm aware that was never an option on Daytonas. I'll look forward to whatever you list on Ebay for the parts.

I agree on the late 85. I am going to look at the door. The emblems on the lights are correct, those were 85-86. And I agree on the woodgrain. I was really hoping the black parts were nos because I have a perfect home for them

I'm not sure about the CS in 85 but I do know the Lazer XT came out mid year 85. 85 XT pretty rare especially the t top option.

I was kinda thinking it might be a mid or late 85.

Awwwwww Seriously!!!!!! You got THAT car? Ugh. I was messaging him. He told me the manufacturer date. I thought that it was a Dodge corporate big wig car being from Detroit. Just a very early car. The wood grain is just like the LeBarons. I added wood grain to my 1st 86 CS
@forgottendailiesllc22 күн бұрын
I'm really thinking someone used the nos woodgrain and put it back into the bags. I've never seen a Daytona with woodgrain. I'm hoping not, but I'm not holding my breath. I find it strange it's not a digital dash car with all of the other options including EVA
@stephenbraun995122 күн бұрын
@@forgottendailiesllc correct on digital. I loved the wood grain in the LeBaron so much I sought one out in a junk yard to do my own conversion. You know they are the same pieces.

@@stephenbraun9951 yes but I'd love the black to be nos for my gtc

The build date is 2-85 so a mid year car so maybe the CS package is legit. Right now we are working on getting it running. The starter just clicks.

@@forgottendailiesllc I can foresee this car being a corporate executive car and early build from C&C to promote their work. Just a thought. It happened to previous Mopars and this IS a Detroit car.
