I have verbalized too many a friend that I was concerned that the lines would get good. You need to be a kicker, ( the only position of stability in the franchise over my lifetime.) or the plain surface and injuries. Does anybody else find it strange that pretty much all the injuries are on defense or one has to react to direction changes rather than decide ahead of time how to plant their feet?

As far as our roster is concerned. resign Zadirius Smith, and use their first draft pick on the offensive line. Resining Carlton Davis and the CB that was covering JJ in week 18 will be awesome with the CB they drafted last year. Maybe look to a late round draft pick for developmental CB and free agency to to fill out their secondary. Also free agency could fill out the D-line too. We may be able to get that big body receiver we really need late in 2nd or 3rd round of the draft too. However, I would be all in for resigning Jason Patrick. Anyways, Brad Holmes is a miracle worker and the best GM the Lions have ever had. The Roster will be fine. I think we will get to the playoffs again next year, and hopefully will do a lot better then we did this year.

All this blaming Goff has got to stop. It takes an entire team to win the game, and it takes an entire team to lose a game as well. Goff had a bad game. However, he is still a finalist in the mvp race. There was missed tackles, bad play calls, and a lack of effort all around. They were flat after the herculean effort they came out with against Minnesota in week 18. Goff will still be the qb next year. So, I stand by him and his ability to bounce back from a bad game. He's the guy! And all you pussy footed fans that jump off Goff's band wagon just cause he had a bad game in the playoffs should find another team with a better qb and root for them. I'm sure there won't be any feelings hurt by that move.

Nope. I boycotted the Lions for 10 years after the Green Bay Matt Flynn game. They refused to build the right way so I refused to watch. Football is won or lost in the trenches, flashy players come later. The owners get that now. They started winning as soon as they started drafting OT's in 1st rd and I was back on board! I don't see anything changing while Dan is here.
