This is the Lions team we expected to see all year. Solid offensive line, solid running game, Goff making some timely, accurate throws, and a young, scrappy defense that plays hard and grinds out some stops here and there. The defense took a while to show up but now that it appears to be figuring things out, the Lions can keep on winning. Big test vs. the Bills next but I'll tell you what it'll be a competitive game.

Man this was my favorite win of the year and really was the confidence turnaround the team needed. I remember the week leading up everyone thought it would be a trap game and they came out and just played extremely physical against the Giants. Past Lions teams would have folded but these came out and won the LOS with tough, smart, physical football.

But Buffalo is tripping a bit here lately, like you say, if we can manage a few takeaways, it's still conceivable. What a shot in the arm it would be if Williams comes back a bit earlier than expected, and makes his debut Thursday! The place is already gonna be rocking, his return might just be enough to put us over the top, regardless of how productive he might be.

Hutchinson and Joseph really played a good game for Lions on defense. For Detriot to play well and rely on each other shows that the team has confidence in who they are. I am fan of Daniel Jones but the 2 picks were tough to see. Not sure where Coach Dan Campbell is likely to be after season for Detriot but him getting this win definitely keeps people quiet for now. Its weird because Daniel Jones played well finding Robinson, Hodges and Slayton. But as Jamaal Williams ran to end zone; the 3 touchdowns he scored meant everything. Good rushing attack by D Andre Swift too. Goff did well and that has to give Lions more hope going forward. Job security might be a topic for Campbell but like I said getting this victory helps. Good sack by Lions defender Cominsky too.

Have to say in 2 games since trading Hockenson, the TE corps are capable of providing some timely catches. Alim McNeill has had some good plays last year and this season but this game definitely was a breakout performance that Detroit has needed from the interior defensive line for a long time plus Hutchinson and Joseph have played well as rookies and made very impactful plays and I hope Okudah can come back soon hopefully Rodriguez and Barnes can become a great duo in the middle because Detroit hasnt had good linebacker play in a long time. Daniel Jones did pass for alot of yards in this game but that rushing defense looked great. I have started Jamaal Williams in my only fantasy league all season including today and he has been a great person for Detroit and he's a very good football player too.
