I really love love the architecture of the elevator banks but too bad they got modded by thyssenkrupp. I still love love and have the heart for these still. It is beautiful that they are still around but modded is necessary sometimes no matter we like it or not. Love love these beautiful elevators still and love the speakers on these. The fixtures on the outside are completely something to die for

Nice cabs, but otherwise could've been better overall. Would've been better in their original state to be honest. This is just a weird mod.

The sad thing is modding doesn't have to be bad, but nobody makes cool fixtures anymore. Everything is LED lit "mouse click" buttons now. Not satisfying to press and LED colors are just too damn perfect. Orange is the only exception, LED orange looks like the color of neon indicator lamps (or Otis touch tubes) but I don't think any new fixtures have orange LEDs. And the only "real" buttons (i.e. high travel buttons) still made are very basic white illuminated buttons with a tiny black halo like innovation universal and Adams survivor. How I wish someone would make a high travel illuminated thick clear halo button with a slightly imperfect illumination color again.
