Hey man long time no see! Its been so exciting watching tigers baseball this past month, i still cannot believe that we have a chance to get into the playoffs!! Im worried though because the twins actually play the marlins and that series could potentially get them back on track, i mean.. they could literally sweep the marlins. I dont want it to come down to the wire where the tigers need to beat the white sox 2 times and then they choke the wild card away just how they choked at the end of 2016. Them facing one of the worst teams in baseball at the time which was the atlanta braves and they lost the series away was just devastating. I really hope we finally get to see Tiger Postseason baseball again, but if they dont make it in, this season was still a sucess in my book since they finally finished above 500. Since 2016.

Tigers are definitely playing on house money. Just like we have the new Lions, this the new Tigers, get used to these names they are here for a while. I think pitching will definitely be a target, and the when pitchers are resurrecting their careers I Detroit, we could be watching the start of something special just like the Lions. The Tigers has boasted a strong farm system for a while now, we are now seeing the fruits of that labor. These kids are fun to watch. Bless These Boys!

This young group of Tigers reminds me of another young group of Tigers. Guys named Morris, Petry, Trammell, Whitaker, Brookens, and Gibson. They all came up within a few years of each other, and look what happened.

Speaking of a boost to the lineup, how great is it to see Jung and Dingler figuring it out?
@JustinVerlander353 ай бұрын
@@CoreyLeland Dingler had that big hit the other day but he’s still looked a bit lost. He’s hasn’t really squared a ball in a while. I think Jung could be a real problem here for teams if he’s starting to tap into his power.

I watched the Tigers win world series in 68 when I was 6. My first sports memory. They haven't won a WS since 84. I've seen a lot of bad baseball. You seem pretty young. My advice is to treat baseball fanship like a baseball season. Don't get too high or low. Going to be a lot of good seasons and a lot of bad ones. Keep believing and you'll be rewarded one day.😊

To answer your question about why Foley was trying to close out that game Saturday night rather than Holton, Holton was actually the opener that day. He pitched the first 2 innings.
@JustinVerlander353 ай бұрын
@@ShadowWizard123 incorrect. He was in fact warming up in the 9th. Reese Olson started the game. This was the order of pitchers Olsen > Hurter > Vest > Gunther > Foley > Brieske. Holton was the opener for the last game of the series.
@ShadowWizard1233 ай бұрын
@JustinVerlander35 oh shoot you're right. He was the opener for the Sunday game. I got them mixed up. But yeah that probably explains why they didn't want to use him Saturday night.
@JustinVerlander353 ай бұрын
@@ShadowWizard123 but they had him warming because of the group of lefties at the top. It doesn’t make sense to let foley face their most dangerous lefty.
