Landry is a linebacker. This scheme doesn’t send a 250 lb from the DE position to crash the QB. Ever. Why would you ask a guy conceding 70 lbs to beat a massive LT…..? Smith, as was said, is the player that makes most sense. He is bigger. He would play the left edge (blindside) and the kick over to where he’s playing now (edge setter). If you want to sound like you know what you’re saying-look at DEs in the 270 range. Ones that are playing opposite the rush edge. Because when Hutchinson returns, that’s where any guy will go. Campbell isn’t hiding anything. He is telling you- They want big DEs (Paschal types).

I love us, idk🤣 I never in a million years would have thought our lions would be elite. I never thought I would see them on the main screen at the bar, and not a silent tv in the far corner. I’m so happy I don’t have to hide my lions merch in embarrassment anymore. Hearing the “professionals” say they think the lions could end up at the superbowl makes me legit cry tears of joy.
