Good video Scott it was interesting the difference with the disc. And the notch and how it pick up the 10" dime but I noticed in each situation it never pick up the dime in the nails witch is not a good thing

I don't think the point of the video was to show how it can or can't pick up the dime. I was just trying to the difference between Notch and DISC. Trust me the D2 can hit the dime. :-)

On your different setting options that you experimented with, you were able to hear the dime in your test bed and then eliminate hearing the nails. Question, you got rid of the iron nail signals and still heard your 10" dime, why then weren't you able to hear the dime that amongst the eliminated nail signals?

I was surprised that you could still hear the nails when you had the Discrimination set at 70....reason being (I think) is because the iron volume was on...odd that iron volume will trump Discrimination....

Silencer isn’t going to impact that dime unless it’s being masked by iron or any item under your discrimination setting including highly mineralized ground. The volume difference of the iron as you moved your discrim from 10 to 7 was due to any target within the discrim settings volume is set by iron volume which is factory default 7 above the discrim is at 10
