Easiest way to beat Yelena is to keep running in a circle & dropping mines. Easiest victory ever. You don't even have to go to the second level. You can get them for free too, if you press 'capslock' & walk to collect them in the DCB area where you shut down the antenna.

@@Chom-Chom haha no shade, typhoon is great. My solution is largely for non-lethal players who don't have it installed. If you remember to pick up the mines, it's an easy way to dust her if you have a stealth build & don't want to spend money on major weapons.

@Ui Ui or stack up on emp mines and heavy rifle ammo. You'll find a cooling system for the rifle anyways,so you can basically upgrade the ammo capacity on it and spam the ammo out on Yelena

Didn't know of that method, I was mostly get the EMP shielding for armour, wait for the prompt, destroy a generator and gun her while she's stunned from the shock

Probably you are playing the older version of the game. I played the director’s cut which also has in-game commentary etc

Yeah I played the older version I was playing on the hardest difficulty and I was trying not to have to reset my perks and progress. But instead I had to just go back and restart and ended saving my proxis kits until I needed them.
