​@@MetalDetectingChannel Could be the antenna wire is too tight and separates from the coil when swinging under water (very very unlikely though), could be a dead coil (charging is a pain with the clip), could be a bad coil. I have not had any connection issues, but I have had a friend return a coil already.

Yes. I am a hunter. Colorado has just about ever animal in North America. Obviously it would be great to be able to just travel everywhere as needed but somewhere there in the Midwest will do😎

Nice hunt D. Does lowering the Salt Sens from 9 to 1 affect depth? My XPD2 was noisy but I had left Salt Sens 7-9.. Was not bad though.

You'll be forced to decrease the salt sens & most likely up the reactivity a little until stable.

Yes it loses a lot of depth. The general sensitivity seems to be less with depth than originally thought. So the difference from 99-90 seems nominal vs salt sens. The reactivity will make the sound faster also giving an allusion of less faulting. That’s actually the best part of this machine is it’s ability to dial it in🙏

Hi What program are you using for the sea and dry sand ?

I really like dive mode around the water edge. Beach sensitive is most sensitive to gold so I use that on dry sand. Hope this helps

Why do you use the deus , if you prefer the nox 800 as a fall back mostly?

The Equinox 600 and 800 are not waterproof as theyre advertised. Have had to send 2 in and wouldn't submerge another ever.

Derek I have used many different types of water shoes and even a pair of Vans (crocs) without socks and didn’t like. Is crocs and socks that good in the sand and water?

Yes. The socks I wear are easy to dry and sand comes right out. Waves and shells suck though 🙏
