You're making good progress! Anyway, after watching devlog 0 I've had an idea for growth: Growth can grow into the form of other entities or objects, kinda like shapeshifting. Of course you would nee to unlock them by for example: Collecting batteries, at certain shops for tokens you can find around the place but more obvious than coins or by just progressing. I also have a concept for an ''enemy'': The Busher. It hides in bushes and when something touches it or is within 3 tiles of it, it will push it away. Won't deal any damage which is why I used quotations marks. And if you land on the top you will bounce. It also has a unique interaction with pushable blocks at it will fling them much further, and if you touch it it will gain the gravity it normally has (which can be done by making two visually identical objects which swap between each other). Thus the block can press buttons across huge gaps. And the first shapeshift that would be unlocked would be the pushable block one allowing the player to cross gaps.

first time watching, really underrated channel! the game looks really good from what I've seen in the 2 devlogs you've posted so far. One thing I recommend is to make a Milanote to help organize ideas and mechanics and to quickly write down ideas.

one thing I think you should do is to try keeping the pixel size about the same across all models so it looks better

Aw thanks so much! Yeah I tend to use a private Discord server and Obsidian MD to keep track of stuff, although I'll admit sometimes I get lazy and think "oh I'll just remember", and then ALWAYS forget haha
